Not your normal pub grub....this was really tasty, different and local food cooked perfectly. Gins on the optics too! Shared a pudding....just couldn't resist having something. Staff were very friendly. Nice local pub, very busy and worth the half hour it took to find a parking space close by! Definitely visit again if down this way.
Incredible food great vegetarian options friendly staff and cosy interior in keeping with it’s 16th century origin. One thing I would mention is our first experience of the pub as we opened the front door was walking in past the toilets which were quite smelly. Some of the best food we’ve had during our week in Cornwall. Very dog friendly too.
Absolutely loved this place. They were very busy on a bank holiday Sunday but still managed to fit us in and make us feel most accommodated. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. And our desert was a delight. Would highly recommend this pub to everyone!
We stayed at a nearby cottage and Napoleon Inn did gorgeous takeaways for us so we went back for more on the next night - great menu with the usual dishes plus a lot of unusual ones that were fantastic. Very cozy log fire if you want to eat in, but takeaway is great if you want to watch a film. We will definitely be back next time we visit Boscastle
Absolutely wonderful. Excellent restaurant quality food at reasonable prices, great selection of beers, wines, spirits and cider to accompany first class eating prepared from fresh local produce all cooked to order by first class chef, front of house management by Lauren is professional and attentive and cannot be faulted. A Tuesday evening is just something else!!! The entertainment by The Boscastle Boys signing shanty’s with very touching words true to Cornwall’s legendary history is so moving and amusing, especially as the evening rolls on and the beer starts to take effect. A true gem not to be missed. Thank you Napoleon Inn for a truly remembering evening.
Rang to book last minute booking for 9 people, travelling down from wales, spoke to very nice lady and said not trouble, didn't even want a deposit i offered . Turn up and was amazed. Pub looked stunning, and the food was AMAZING, and the waiter was very, very friendly. 5*+

Lovely pub, really good food. And the guy preparing and bringing it brought a smile on our faces, perfect experience.
Lovely pub situated in top of Boscastle village. The pub is divided into a number of rooms and there are 3 outdoor seating areas. Great selection of real ales which are served straight from the cask and taste superb. There is a good selection of food available on the menu and there is a daily specials menu, food is very good and I can highly recommend the Sticky toffee pudding. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the location.
