Had a few beers and a few meals here as part of our holiday. Staff were friendly, food was good value and tasty It's very busy on the weekend, so I would recommend booking a table. Nice place to chill and enjoy a beer or 3Service: 4/5
Rib eye steak to die for this evening. Cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. This is our favourite place to go to when on holiday. All week the ale has been spot on and a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. The team work really hard and it shows. I couldn’t fault the food tonight and I can’t wait to come back again. Advised booking is a must and the friendly atmosphere from all the locals makes it a place you have to visit again and again. This week has been made for me by this local venue and the team behind the bar and in the kitchen know how to make you at ease. If you are on holiday you have to visit. Support somewhere like this on your travels. It makes the difference to a family run business like the cobweb. I can’t wait to return
Wow... Unique, welcoming to all, amazing homemade food. New Year's Eve was something else. So wonderful to see locals mixing happily with others in a big fun huddle! We need more of this... Bring on more music for New Year’s Day!! Yay!!!!!
Fabulously tasty Sunday carvery with a choice of beef, turkey and pork or a bit of each served with homemade yorkshires and super fresh vegetables. We booked initially for our first Sunday of our holiday and were so impressed that we booked for our remaining two following weeks. Definitely a must visit destination on our future holidays to Cornwall.
Two generous stars for great location, building with plenty of character, and acceptable food. It certainly doesn't deserve more. Five of us eating, but ordered in two separate transactions at exactly the same time, one of which was clearly not communicated to the kitchen. Two meals eaten and all drinks consumed before the final three meals arrived. We had to ask twice. Multiple orders made and delivered to other customers while we were left waiting. Attitude poor when polite enquiry made. Mistakes happen, and that's fair enough. What sets a good experience apart from a poor one is the way it's dealt with. Staff training obviously lacking, go elsewhere if possible. Shame, as with minor adjustments it could be lovely. I'd like to think that perhaps we were unlucky? Wouldn't bother testing that theory with my own £ again though.
wonderful pub, great atmosphere, and good food. Always happy to spend time here. People complaining about waiting to be offered a drink seem not to understand the difference between a pub and a restaurant... go to the bar and order like everyone else Great music evenings, lively, dog friendly.... proper Cornish
What a fascinating and enchanting pub! Set on the main street that winds its way through Boscastle, the Cobweb Inn made my husband and I and our Labrador Ruby very welcome. We only had time for a quick drink so sadly didn't get to sample any food, but the atmosphere was cosy two open fires going, a very welcome site on a cold and wet day and the staff were attentive and friendly. Absolutely charming, will be back next time we visit Boscastle.
Perfect for a game of pool and a quick pint! It is definitely worth booking a table as it gets busy and the chances of a walk-in at the weekend or during holiday season are pretty slim. Worth the wait though as the food is very good!Service: 5/5
Has to be one of the best pubs I have visited. I am somewhat of a burger connoisseur and to date this pub serves the tastiest burger I have ever had. Vintage pub vibes, dogs allowed and friendly staff make this the number one pick for Bostcastle pubs!
Just popped in for lunch. A bit busy inside so we opted for outside as the sun was out and there's a covered seating area too. Fantastic food do o check the specials boardService: 5/5
