Had afternoon tea with my children, the food was exceptional, impeccable service, could not fault a thing. Beautiful surroundings, fantastic value for money as so much to eat we couldn't eat it all. Children absolutely loved the food and venturing into the garden after, lovely afternoon. Most definitely coming again. Thank you for a beautiful afternoon :

What a fabulous place .stayed here with my family and my little dog. Everyone was friendly and helpful.our rooms very clean and warm and beautiful. We had a lovely evening meal and two Great breakfasts,and afternoon tea. The food was outstanding and lots of it .our dog was allowed to come with us for food . Would recommend this place beautiful surroundings and a real treat will definitely be returning the service we received was first class x
Impeccable staff, especially Alec. Fantastic mansion hotel and have stayed before but the almighty party noise from the self catering cottage left us demented. Ridiculously loud music and shouting until 4am. Another room given away from the problem but at 2am, this was a nightmare sleep : Policy please to prevent reoccurring issues
Visited for a ghost hunt experience. Hotel was really welcoming and nice. Beautiful grounds to wander through. Rooms: The room was comfortable and clean and reasonably quiet.
Met my mum and dad for a pre mothers day meal, Amazing food service by Al was brilliant we felt so welcome and there gin selection # say no more

Pretty much the top wedding venue in the area. Beautiful grounds, lovely food, friendly and attentive staff.
Have stayed here before 5 years ago and fond of it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Built c 1770s. Grand old house. Lovely rooms, super food and dining. It is charming. Grounds are beautiful. Has a lake, snooker room, self catering I stables. Room for wheelchair access, and room for mobility access.
A friend bought us a voucher for an Afternoon Tea for two. We are so glad we went. The food was delicious and the service was faultless. We were even given a tour of the rooms. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.Service: 5/5
