Beautiful walk!nEnjoyed the natural beauty of the woods and all the awesome carvings.nnSaw a red squirrel for the first time ever! Lovely to see.nnFound an old railroad which was beautiful and cool to see - access from the concrete path in places.nnNice river with some small falls and places for the dogs to paddle.nnParking was available right next to it with a cheap parking fee! 2 hours for £1.50.nnMostly concrete paving and wooden bridges - good for the winter to avoid the mud!

Great walk to see the red squirrels along the broadwalks with nice flowing streams and the sounds of running water.

Shame most of the boardwalk was closed if it had been on the website we wouldn't have bothered going. We did walk a few miles but had no idea where we were going so turned back, still it's good to get out in nature, very beautiful place.

Lovely walk through the woods and spotted several red squirrels.

A lovely woodland nature reserve with waymarked paths and choices of routes. We went to try to see the Red Squirrels and weren't disappointed. You'll need to go to the feeding station area and be patient. A couple came down from the treetops to feed and they stayed quite a while. We walked about 3.5 miles out to the reservoir and back and enjoyed the trip.
