Handy for the Dingle. Free 8pm-8am. No overnights.nnSquirrels often seen mid afternoon when they expect feeding! Walk up to the reservoir is lovely, nice boardwalk sections over the stream and pathed footpaths with plenty of trees alongside. It's about 1.5-2 miles to the Reservoir, look out for the Heron. You can walk over the reservoir on the train track path disused or go round the edges of the reservoir for a longer walk. Beautiful at dusk when bats fly just above your head and the sunset looks amazing over the water. Great for a run. Kids can explore fairly safely here. Some sculpture and other things to see.
We parked here to do the woods and lake walk. Put £4 in the machine. So it gave us plenty of time. But it turned out all the paths were closed on the walk.!! For repairs so that was a waste of time and money.
A normal enough car park, but right next to the Dingle, a little, quite well hidden gem, on Anglesey. A great walk and you often get to see red squirrels. Both times we've been we've clapped eyes on at least one. The trick seems to be to bring some squirrel food with you.
Ideal spot to while away a couple of hours. Notice boards well displayed. Parking starts at £1 for an hour or £1.50 for 2 hours. I got an extra ticket because our vehicle is a long camper and took up two spaces. We had a lovely little walk around the Dingle boardwalks and had a very nice chat with a local police officer who was on patrol.
Great car park, stumbled upon this place by accident- it's hidden between a doctors and a row of houses. Affordable, clean, well lit.
