Yesterday I was working near Shrawley, some 8 miles away from Droitwich and I needed to get back to the train station. I phoned for a taxi and spoke to Tom who assured me he could pick me up at my requested time. He gave me a quote I was happy with and I made the booking. Tom picked me up from the address I was working at and the journey was pleasant and uneventful. In conversation I had told him about my outward journey with a different company and that I wasn't happy with either the service or the price I was charged. As a visuallly impaired person who hardly knew the area I felt at ease and Tom has worked with disabled people before, he had a good understanding of my needs and I would highly recommend. Have now saved this companies details to my phone for future reference.
Ny taxies disappointment At first we booked a taxi to go up the road, and left out other friends waiting for a taxi, because he said he was going to come back straight away. After 25 minutes waiting we asked the person who called the taxi to call again to check up on where he was...he said he was on his way. After another 10 minutes passed, we thought we would call him ourselfs. A rude lady answered and I quote " I'm the phone opperater you call me!" Even though the taxi driver himself said he would come back for us? Why would I need to call her when he said himself he would come back? Unreliable and lack of customer service from ny taxis, you've just lost yourself a customer and there will be nothing but bad reviews from us to others Thanks
Called for a quote - £8 for a journey just up the road! When I quoted someone else at £5, he hung up.
A very helpfull friendly service id reccomend them to all my friends who live in the droitwich area ......
