I ordered my sofas on Sunday and was told they'd arrive the following Weds-Fri, amazingly, they arrived on Thursday to my house just in time for the evening party! Amazing service and price!
The best furniture shop in the north west i am in love
The price seem to fluctuate on a whim. I visited the store looking for a dining table and chairs. Some were marked up saying "does no include chairs" and in addition to this had a second price if you wanted the chairs on top. That's fine. Others however were marked with one price and did not say anything about not including the chairs, giving the impression the chairs were included. When I asked the lady to confirm the chairs were included she instantly added £70 to the marked price. I wasn't overly impressed with the store, I went home and looked on eBay and picked up a dining table and chairs for a lot less and paid £10 delivery. Much happier. I won't be going back to Mystique.
Dealing with mystique over the phone is difficult to say the least. I am genuinely convinced the people who took over have just bitten off more than can chew. I visited the store to sort my order, and they were helpful, The order was clarified and dellivery date confirmed with a girl called Emily. The delivery was executed as planned, but there had been many weeks of phone calls and chasing, but 1 simple visit to the store and it was sorted. I get the feeling they are overwhelmed, and not prepared for so much activity or the logistics of so many deliveries, hopefully they will learn to handle it better or bring dedicated staff in, it's a steep learning curve. For now, I recommend visiting the store, speak to Emily, and hopefully clear up your delivery issues. Hopefully it works as well for you as me. Old Review Below. Popped in to pick up an item, plenty of parking space, big open warehouse type affair. Not always the cheapest but nice place to shop.
Absolutely appalled by my experience at this shop. Was told a bed was in stock.......in fact 15 of them so drove 30 miles to pick it up on arrival the said they didn't no what i was talking about after a long conversation on Facebook. I showed them the messages and they said a member of staff must of got it wrong. We went to pick it up on a further 2 occasions and again made me luck stupid! Extremely rude staff with clearly no sale experience. I was drawn in with Facebook like others and even overheard a conversation in the shop about there friends to leave good reviews. Do not buy from here!
Took a 200 mile round trip and Finally visited today after watching many videos on Facebook of what the shop sells. Received a warm and friendly welcome and received a personalised and professional service from all staff members. A huge showroom of stock to accommodate all tastes. excellent quality at reasonable prices. Spent a small fortune and car was also loaded for me. Was definitely worth the road trip to visit and would 100% recommend this shop. I will be returning to purchase more but will take a bigger van next time. My review : excellent.
Got my gigantic mirror from here which the shop staff arranged deliver for also got a coffee table and some pictures for my apartment. The showroom has so many beautiful things I wish I had more rooms. Will be going back again soon to show my friend who is getting her first home.
Popped in for ornaments for the conservatory but could have left with a load more - contemporary furnishings galore in here! Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Easy to get to by car or public transport and delivery charges very reasonable.
Threatened by boss !! After paying cash 4 weeks ago for furniture and being told numerous time "it will be in tomorrow " we attended the shop as we were advised that our furniture was in for collection. We attended and a very helpful lady tried numerous times to get one of the males working to help find our furniture . The cockney boss directed us to our delivery but was the wrong items. He was very abrupt, rude but eventually again told us it would be in tomorrow and we asked due to all our mither would he deliver it to which he agreed. Then from nowhere came the other boss "lloyd" the irish one mentioned on previous reviews said very abrupt and rude and shouted loudly" no we won't, just give them their money back " He then proceeded to count out money from his pocket and threw it at us. I was flabbergasted to say the least ! My husband was very polite but the male got right in his face and whispered " I'll give you a slap" !!!. Other members of staff gathered around and we felt very intimidated and left . I have heard other people comment on this males attitude before but never could I imagine anyone treating another person in this way let alone a customer . These people should not be allowed to operate any kind of retail business. I had to give 1 star rating to enable me to review the shop but it should have the option for a minus star !
Absolutely shocking customer service. Bought a mirror from here, got it home and it was cracked. We rang to see what Mystique were going to do about it and the lady we spoke to thought she had put me on hold but she hadn't. She was not very nice about us to her colleague to say the least. Then she said they weren't going to do anything about it. I wouldn't mind but we weren't rude at any point and the mirror was very expensive. I would avoid this place like the plague.
