The rules change on a weekly. Last week I rang in the afternoon and got a telephone appointment next day. Really lovely doctor. This week rang and was told to ring 8am ‍, rang and was told only telephone appointment. Last week I was told I would be rang by 10am. This week I am told it will be anytime up to 7. Getting the feeling they make it up as they go along. Receptionist have recently always been polite though.
We've been at this surgery for nearly 18 years, since we moved to the town and we honestly cannot fault it. Apart from a couple of receptionists, who may Ì add, are no longer there, the ladies couldn't be nicer. I see them, all the time, being given a hard time and I just can't agree with those people. I've been told "Well, aren't you lucky!!". My response is, well if the attitude you have on here social media is the attitude you have with the ladies at the doctors then I'm not surprised you've had a bad experience. They don't go to work go be shouted at and ridiculed, treat them respectfully and they will do the same back, end of!
I've had to wait 9 days to get an appointment to see a Doctor to discuss results of a recent blood test. I waited 35 minutes on the phone and I was number one in the phone queue. Disappointing service since Dr Dixon & Dr Manuel retired. Never seen the same Doctor twice, sometimes it's a practice nurse. Myrtle House in my opinion is not fit for purpose, time it closed it's doors.
Not very nice to talk to in the morning after waiting 30 mins to get through to reception, and this is day 2 of trying to get an appointment for my 6 yo daughter now waiting for a call back. Definitely not the same anymore since Dixon and co left, I shall be seeking an alternative later today
Used to be a great doctor's surgery until the docs retired and sold the surgery to a bunch of incompetent idiot's now you never see the same doc twice and I've no idea who my gp is meant to be! I don't know any of the docs and I don't trust any of them.
Absolutely ridiculous been trying for the past hour to get through for an appointment and when they finally do answer they have no appointments left. Really need to fix up as it happens all the time.
If you have any health issues, it's better to consult the stars, of you wish to argue with a middle aged 47 year old woman, this is the place..
Been with this practise for over 20 years and always been satisfied x
Absolute shambles. Fail patients on a daily basis. Would be dead before they help you.
