First time trying this new place and the food was nice and very tasty. They have a lunchtime special that is very affordable. The portions are quite big and the packaging is quite cute to be honest. I would definitely recommend this place.
I only heard about this recently but I eat a lot of Asian cuisine so I really wanted to try it. I'm glad to say it did not disappoint. One of the best parts of this order was that the delivery was free and the food arrived much quicker than Deliveroo approx. 20 mins. For myself, I ordered the Chicken Yaki Udon which really surprised me with the quality of the ingredients including different types of exotic mushrooms and ginger. All the flavours were very well balanced and I will definitely order it again soon. I also ordered a few starters and would highly recommend the vegetable spring rolls and squid which were delicious.
We arrived to order a takeaway only to be told , " as you can imagine we are really busy so you will be waiting a long time " so on other words we are really busy and go so where else ... not positive hello or greeting!! We ordered one curry, one duck lettuce wrap , one rice and dumplings. My husband and I both agreed it was very expensive so only ordered to share. After a 40 minute plus wait the food was ready. We were really alarmed by the packaging of the food it was so small for the cost. The curry came in a "soup " sized cardboard takeaway carton. The rice was really small , the lettuce wraps that were nearly 13 pounds were thrown togeather ... not wrapped up in huge open iceberg limp stale lettuce leave with around 6 bits of over hard duck ... £13!!! The curry was tiney... and did not taste Thai at all and still had three hard lumps of star anise in it , one of which I nearly broke my tooth on ... they should be taken out before being served , I've never had them served before. I called the restaurant to let them know I was not happy after nearly breaking a tooth and about the wraps. Norman the chef said they should be left in ... how would people know star anise is left in the curry ... it's dangerous and again I've eaten Thai lots of times and never had that problem before.Theu just said sorry and that was that... £29 later , still hungry, treat ruined and poorer. Mye Mye more like Bye Bye .. awful food , poor customer service, really over priced . Never again .
Worst takeaway I've ever binned....2 starters & main course, all veggie so not easy to kill!. Gyoza dumplings burnt underneath, spring rolls also overcooked, Pad Thai just a bunch of thick noodles once again, absolutely cremated!!. First & last time I use this 'restaurant'
One of the best take outs I've had In a long time. Great customer service, great food quality. Everything looked, smelt and tasted fresh and was top quality. Going to be ordering here many times in the future and will recommend this place to all my friends. I don't understand all the 1 star reviews those people don't have a clue on good quality. Don't be put off by bad reviews give them a try you won't regret it! In my opinion the best dish I had from them was the chicken gyoza very tasty and seasoned perfectly. Really speedy delivery was delivered a head of time as well which is just the icing on the cake in my opinion . Couldn't get a better take out.
This is the first review of a restaurant I have ever done and probably the last too. But this food was so downright disgusting I would have loved for someone to have steered me away from choosing Mye Mye before i went for it. Never in my life have take out ruined a date but this one was unedible. Both me and my date agreed that the pad thai tasted like horse or something that belonged in a stable. We ended up throwing the pad thais and ordered pizza instead, as it was unedible. Most of mye myes good reviews seems to be pre October 2017 so maybe something happend after that date? Or perhaps the previous good reviews were bought. A one minute cooking time for the food started ringing alarm bells but I doubted it could be as horrible as it ended up being. In my opinion pad thais should not taste like a stable, AVOID this restaurant at all costs.
Visited lasted year for an impromptu sit down with the family, when they still had a few tables and the staff were Thai, and had a lovely meal, over a chat with the friendly owner. Mye Mye what a difference a year makes! Picked up a takeaway this evening...everything was overly salty, especially the Wonton soup. Edamame beans were ice cold. Duck Spring Rolls, Gyoza Dumplings, and Fish Cakes could have been supplied by Wing Yip, Croydon...they were that mediocre. Veg Yaki Soba stir fry...uncooked pak choi and courgette, pickled pink ginger, rehydrated tofu...the only thing stir fried was the noodles. To be fair we ate everything, but then for £34.59 there wasn't nearly as much as I would get from our excellent local curry house, or that family run Thai on London Road. Poor value for money overall. Can only assume a change of owner/management could account for difference in experience.
It was really nice food, however quite bland for a Asian food place and am used to more flavour. Portions were ok and a decent menu - the take away seems quite classy and a "healthy" eating kind of taste to it. Overall nice, however not quite what to be expected.
My BIRTHDAY is ruined Order Kyoko Green Tea Mango Juice Singapore Noodles Vegetable Gyoza It all begun me going outside to get the food, when i went outside the deliveroo was way way in the distance waving my food around. I waited and waited and then decided to walk to meet him as he clearly was lost somehow. I have eaten here twice now, the first time was better than this time. This time I was given an out of date green tea which has left me needing to sprint across the office to the lavatory a couple times today. Who would have thought green tea could do that so someone. I will be calling up about that when they open at 4. Strange they open at 4 but Deliveroo can serve from 12:15. Also the Gyoza dumplings were cold :'. I love a cheeky Gyoza so its has actually ruined my birthday im cancelling meeting my friends and staying in bed as i am too upset to deal with life now. Singapore noodles were okay i guess. pretty standard but the sauce stains when you spill it. be careful. 2 out of ten for effort. 6 out of ten for taste.
They have done some refurbishment and the place looks great. However, it is a takeaway place. The delivery was quick and on time, food was warm and the gentleman who delivered was really polite, the food was absolutely delicious, the only thing is that it was a bit expensive £7.99+ for curry and if you order rice your take away bill is about £11+ . I don't think we can order every week but the food was fantastic.
