After patiently waiting for my next checkup and after giving all the slack I could to allow the practice to recover from the pandemic period, I have been informed that my dentist has now gone private and I will have to pay. This is not acceptable when I have been a NHS patient with them for many years. There is no culpability or duty of care shown by them and are now being driven purely by money. It is despicable that they should treat their patients in this way, backing out of their moral responsibilities and service to the community.
I have been going to Elena at my dentist in Bridlington for some years now. She is very caring and patient with me and explains all my options. I have recently moved to Cleethorpes and was unable to get on a NHS panel. Because I feel comfortable and safe with Elena I didn't mind the 2 hour drive to Bridlington. The staff and assistants are all very friendly too.

Went to see the Oral Hygienist she was excellent explained everything throughout treatment didn’t feel a thing. So caring and professional.
As a patient for over 10 year at My Dentist, as well as having the same dentist for much longer, I have already found my experience very good and would recommend it. The dentist I have had has been the best one. However, due to the pandemic, I have not been able to attend like everyone else. However, due to other health reasons, I have not been able to get in touch with My Dentist and have also felt anxious to do so because of the pandemic. I contacted today, March 16t 2022 to finally book and appointment, but the lady on the reception said I'm unable to have my regular dentist as he is only seeing select patients. To me this is a discriminatory way of wording, and this made me feel very upset and frustrated, especially when already suffering from health reasons. My own dentist has now gone private for most of his days, but my mum is still on the system to see the same dentist. I'm furious that they can simply break up family like that, and require me to pay private to see him, while my mum has the same dentist on the nhs simply because I did not get in touch soon enough. I will be putting in an appeal against this, because I find this a wrong way to treat long time patients with a great track record of attendance, and it has not helped my current health matters too, but that doesn't seem relevant to them no matter the reasoning behind not contacting them sooner. Also, if the care so much about patients, then they should send out letters or ring them to let them know, instead of relying on people to contact within a set time frame. Life for some people, can get in the way, so this is unfair when it's only been two months since the pandemic. I was not even aware that I had to contact myself, as nobody at My Dental made that clear to me, and for the space of two months, I have now lost my regular dentist that i've had for at least 10- 12 years. It's the principle of it in why i'm not going to go to mydentist again. I will take this up with CQS and possibly Pals as to whether this is the correct treatment for a long time customer. They should give some leeway due to the pandemic too, as not everyone will feel fine to go straight back to the dentist, and cases are on the rise again anyway, and this is bad. I don't see why I cannot still have the same dentist at somepoint. If he is still working one day not privately, then they should be able to allow me to continue when available. To word it to me as only SELECT FEW people chosen, is discrimination and completely wrong.
Hi my name is Jackie and my dentists is Andrew Clayton, I was there this morning for a extraction, . Andrew always gives me the true reassurance that every dentists should. Andrew always makes me feel safe I don't stress about injections any more either. Thanks Andrew your a star. Ime feeling loads better and feet are up as advised, Hope you have a fab Xmas x
I received filling treatment yesterday ..I could feel the pain on the bottom tooth as close to the nerve. I should have been advised this would be the case and been offered extraction..so I'm a bit unhappy about that. Been taking painkillers since ..just hope the pain doesn't persist.
Lovely practice catering to both nhs and private practice. As expected the private practive is a bit pricey but the service is great. Unfortunatly they do not have their own car park but there is on street parking around the corner. The staff are lovely, friendly and very professional.
I have been with Dr Ilyas for quite a number of years and he always gives a first class service. He and his dental nurse are always friendly and very helpful. Really impressed with the covid security and all the care given so the toothache i had was resolved. I highly recommended this dental practice.
At last finally managed to find a great dentist!. Vicky and Andy are amazing, very professional but also with a great sense of humour to boot. The reception team also do a super job and will always try to get you seen if it's an emergency, was so impressed with them urged my partner to sign up with them as soon as they had places available
