Been with these for a number of years, had a number of appointments up to 23rd dec, had call cancelling them. Waited 2+yr for my treatment has my dentist decided to go private halfway through my treatment i was told he'd left but he was there when i took a member of my family for their appointment. After putting in a formal complaint i was given same dentist for treatment but now all further treatment has been cancelled. According to reception they've all lost their jobs as of friday. I will persue a law suit against bupa Definitely this time!!!!
A great dentist practice if you are a private patient. They have only one fantastic dentist doing NHS work and that looks as though Bupa are going to end that. I suspect Bupa are chasing more money from private patients than they receive doing NHS work. Shame on them!
I have been unable to get any form of dental care for the last two years from this practice. I tried again today to get treated for decay on the gum line and was told to ring the emergency line at 8.0 tomorrow morning. I asked about paying for private treatment. If I payed 58 pound's today I could have an inspection in late October. This is no longer a dental practice, it is a joke .and in bad taste .
Used this practice 3 years ago had to see hygienist before they would treat me. Paid £157 for hygienist to damage my teeth. Cracked 2 and damaged 3 more. Had been to spalding oasis 2 week before but it didn't matter. Never been back to a dentist after the pain he put me through until today when I have found a lovely dentist to put my teeth right as he put me through hell
It is now impossible to get a NHS appointment at this practice even though I'm registered here. Having paid NI for 50 years I expect better than this. Whoever is to blame ie Government/Dental Practice it is totally unacceptable. PHS not NHS now.
I can not believe this place, in the 3 years I have been with them I have managed to have 2 appointments in which i were told that i am going to need a lot of treatment. However over the passed 2 years any appointments made were cancelled by Bupa with very little notice via text message. After receiving the most recent cancellation I phoned to make another appointment to be told that I have been taken off the register there because of not having an appointment for 2 years. Absolutely shocking behaviour, what am I ment to do now? Thanks Bupa Update: 26th July 2022 I really don't want to call you and have to listen again to your feeble attempts at explaining this away. You have a duty of care, even to those who unfortunately have to have treatment on the NHS, and you have failed.
Shocking customer service. You can never get through on the phone i have been trying for an hour now. All previous appointments which have been made for the past 2 years have been cancelled just before the appointment becomes due. They will only consider seeing you if "you are in pain" or it "is an emergency"... what about people who simple care for their teeth and want regular cleans and check-ups to prevent any pain/emergency treatment? Poor all round and due to the lack of other dentists in the area there is absolutely NOTHING which you can do about it.
Can't fault the staff here. From walking in and talking to the receptionist to seeing the dentist guy for the first time a few weeks ago they have all been super lovely, very patient with me. I had an appointment with Beth tinker the hygienist this week, never been a fan of hygienists before as it's always been painful so I was really nervous, don't know why because she was so nice and put me at ease straight away and the treatment I received was painless, I could have cried and hugged her if I was allowed, I was so happy. Looking forward to getting my second treatment with her in a few weeks. Thank you all so much x
Brilliant dentists and staff. Staff always cheerful and happy - nothing is too much trouble. The only bad thing when I went yesterday I was told thay my dentist was leaving - very sorry to see him go. but on the bright side I get a new dentist and I know he will be of the same quality as my old dentist. Good luck Charles in your future career. Someday you might come back.!!
I've never been comfortable going to the dentist as most people but always felt a lot more calm here that at my last practice. My dentist is a lovely man and cant do enough for you. Ive always experienced very friendly nurses/receptionists too. Seems like the place is very well run!
