Considering Dentists are supposed to be scary places, my dentist really isn't. The girls on reception are a delight to see, always helpful before and after. My dentist, Lucy, is the kindest, gentlest and informative person anyone could wish for. They make a great team and make a great difference.
I visited My Dentist Glossop this morning and was greeted by the lovely friendly reception team who were so smiley . My Dentist is Lucy who is just the most lovely Dentist and goes out of her way to make everyone feel relaxed and informed of any procedures .
I made a complaint to MyDentist Glossop in November due to being given poor advice by the Dentist which caused my teeth to move and will now cost thousands of Pounds to fix. My complaint has been pushed back continuously since November with no resolution and I am now at the point where my emails are no longer responded to and I haven’t had an update in weeks. If I could give 0 stars I would, horrendous customer service.
This dental surgery is too small.... patients are sat together with a total of six! chairs. Dark environment with weird lighting. If feedback is accepted, you want to tell the receptionist to stop repeating people's phone numbers when speaking to them on the phone. Thinking of changing dentists.
I telephoned My Dentist to make an appointment as I had 2 porcelain crowns fitted approx 19 months ago and one of these has fallen out. I was informed that the first available appointment was in November. I accepted this as I had little choice as after this their first next available appointment was for January 2023 and I cannot go this length of time with a tooth missing. I asked if there would be a charge for this to which the Receptionist Julie didn't know, so I asked her to find out for me, she said there would be. I replied I thought porcelain crowns were supposed to last for a minimum of 5-10 years, she made further enquiries and came back saying the NHS only guarantee them for a year. When I had the 2 porcelain crowns fitted I paid a £1,000, it was only when I came off the phone that I realised that at this cost it couldn't have been NHS treatment. The service at My Dentist has been going down hill for quite some time and for a while now before you even attend your appointment you are asked to pay in advance when it was Durgan & Ashworth their service was impeccable and you were never asked to pay before treatment.
very good service and kind, understanding, especially with nervous patients so please do not go over to private dental care as for some of us it would be beyond our affordability
Excellent service. Friendly staff. Seen same day for emergency app. Placed at ease, explained what was happening throughout.
Disgusted with this dentist, been going for 33 years and never had a problem until the last few years when my dentist retired. Now because i had to cancel because of covid related issues they refuse to treat me. I am not sure how Lauren can practice as she can't even do a simple filling and Lucy is a shocking dentist, both are in the wrong profession in my opinion! Most of them don't have the customer service or skill set to perform in their roles. Some of the reception are also very rude. I have raised formal complaints with mydentist and will take it as far as nhs England and the ombudsman if necessary!
The dentist and nurse were excellent as my nerves are not good .The receptionists are always helpful thank you all for your kindness.
I cannot thank Rosie and Steph enough. What a great supportive and professional team they are. I am so anxious and nervous every time I attend an appointment, yet they both have so much time and patience with me I truly cannot thank them enough. They put me at ease and chat way distracting me as much as possible whilst they are undertaking the work required on my teeth. They really are an asset to the practice. Thank you girls xx
