This really is a hidden gem. If you have the chance please visit. If only teachers where as enthusiastic as Tony teaching physics. As people say. If it's your hobby you never work a day in your life. I cannot express how much i enjoyed this experience.
My wife took me for a birthday surprise, what a treat. Magical.
We absolutely loved coming here and we learnt so much. The laboratory is a plethora of equipment that are like pieces of art in their own right and some uniquely made to enhance your experience. Tony and Pat made us feel so welcome and it was lovely to have tea and cake before the second part of whizz bangs and pops.
Tony has an impressive collection of antique scientific instruments and we enjoyed the amazing demonstrations - it was eye-opening. He was very passionate and has an inquisitive mind. We also enjoyed the lovely tea break with Tony and Pat
The only place like this..... In the world. Let "mad professor" Tony take you on a journey through radiation, x-rays, plasmas and electrons in the most fascinating display of Victorian science you will ever see. A very personal welcome by an extraordinary couple and a show like no other. This has to be on your bucket list.
Tony Swift and his museum is one of the most exciting places in North Yorkshire to visit!
