I have been a regular customer there for many years, wouldn't go anywhere else. Very friendly staff.

Myself and most of my family use this place as our main coffee/lunch stop in Basildon. The staff have always been very friendly and the food is to a high standard, not much of the pre packed stuff that you see served by the "industry leading" coffee shop.

The coffee is stronger than some places but that is to my taste. Also the best brownies I have had anywhere! I believe made with 3 types of chocolate.

The staff are always friendly, the food and drinks are always hot (unless they aren't supposed to be), and tasty.  
I have been coming here for quite a few years now, and will continue to do so for as long as I can.

I am a regular visitor to Muscovado's and would recommend to anyone. . . The service is always quick polite and friendly and the staff are very efficient. I am actually, going there again this afternoon 😀☕️☕️🌯

While working in Basildon for a couple of weeks I wanted somewhere to get a decent cup of coffee. Initially thought I'd have to settle for Costa and seeing they'd closed down was getting depressed until I stumbled across Muscovado tucked away in the Eastgate mall. An absolute gem. Run by a husband and wife team with lovely staff and a proper barista who really cares about the coffee. Plus fantastic homemade brownies and cakes. There is another well known chain outlet in the mall but keep on walking and have your coffee at Muscovado.
