Fabulous place, great food, coffee, friendly staff and much more. Our latest visit was for the monthly Sunday Roast. Wow, go hungry as it’s huge but delicious! Proper home cooked food with lashings of gravy. Looking forward to trying one of their special dining evenings
We stumbled across this place looking for some lunch and this did not disappoint! We didn’t have a table booked and we were lucky enough to get the last table. Food was DELICIOUS, portions were huge, chips were amazing and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Great atmosphere, will definitely return in the future. I don’t live that close to hear but it’s worth the 30 minute drive! Thank you!
Stumbled upon this gem as I was waiting for my car to have some work done locally. Essentially situated in a car park, but on a beautiful sunny morning, the outdoor seating area was very pleasant and you could easily be fooled into thinking you were somewhere much more scenic. I opted for the Greek yoghurt and granola which, while it may not sound too interesting, was absolutely fantastic! It was only when I went inside to pay that I realised this isn’t just a cafe, but a lovely little shop, selling all manner of homemade jams, preserves and all sorts. There was also a very enticing cake section that I will certainly be revisiting, come cheat day. Highly recommended
What a beautiful Sunday Roast! One of the best I’ve ever had, wonderful staff made this a lovely place to visit, 1st time for us but most certainly won’t be the last!! Truly recommend with all my heart
Wow! Stumbled across this place today after a run and it was incredible. The food, service and ambience was spot on! The I think owner could not do enough to make sure we had a lovely breakfast and we will definitely be returning for dinner and drinks in the bar one evening!
This place is very nice and small, and the food is also very good. I had some breakfast here and it was all delicious. Make sure to book as it gets very busy very quickly!
Me and the wife fancied somewhere different where we could get some quality lunch made fresh produce by chefs that make it from scratch. The Hub has a well rounded menu and had great specials board which was explained in full when we arrived. Good service and the fish finger open sandwich was so good I found myself thinking about it the next day at lunch! Much rather pay more for a high quality meal, like anything in life, you get what you pay for : Having travelled from Braintree we were not disappointed!
A hidden gem. Great food and cosy atmosphere. Very nice staff, very helpful. I had warm salt beef, mustard mayo and gherkin on brown bread and it was delicious. Served with a creamy coleslaw and side salad. Mouth watering. Can't wait to visit again.
Went for Saturday breakfast with my girlfriend. English breakfast was amazing, everything was perfect and topped with the most delicious slice of toast. Great service, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating both in and out but if you're scared of wasps be mindful of taking outside table. I had good fun swinging at them with fly swatter provided. Parking: Plenty of parking on weekends
I had my very first breakfast out at The Hub this morning and what a treat! We booked for 10:30 and chose the Classic Hub from an extensive menu. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the latest fashion of eating breakfast out! I understand they now have take away boxes of food cooked on ther premises. Will still be great but minus the ambience of the place. Parking: Plenty of spaces on the sind outsideseating
