The worst taxi service I've ever used in my life. Pre-booked a taxi hours in advance for a Sunday evening to catch a very time sensitive train, and after 5 minutes of waiting past my booked time, I call the driver, and he tells me he's sat in traffic, miles away. He hadn't text or call me to let me know about this, despite being literally sat in traffic, which is just unbelievably disrespectful and unprofessional, and as a result, I missed my train and it hugely messed up the schedule of my entire evening travelling. What's more, Murphy's shut at 4pm on a Sunday, so there were no more drivers I could have gone with instead. Utterly appalling service, I do not understand in the slightest how Uber, who I have always had flawless service with for years, were pushed out of Market Harborough for the likes of Murphy's Taxis. Will never use again. I wish I could give minus stars.
Top notch service today after the bus back to Foxton had broke down. The driver was kind, helpful to the extreme and really friendly I would definitely use this firm again. Thank you for getting us back to our boat
They are always late, never on time even if you book them sometimes wont turn up & wont pick up the phone
Will never use this taxi service again, so we were at a wedding party and several large taxis’s had been booked all for local drop off’s at the end of the party, got home no problem, being last we paid the £20 charge he asked us to pay never left market Harborough only to find out the next morning all the taxis’s were pre paid by the wedding party. Absolutely shocking, just need to check if the remaining 3 groups got done the same ! It’s a disgrace.
Used to drive for them my car was always serviced on time and I was responsible for changing tyres etc just took the car to the nearest tyre place and got them done. But the pool cars were terrible just old tat not fit for purpose. They used to stop £20.00 a week for insurance and iff we didn't have an accident we were supposed to get it back. Still waiting for mine after several years definitely not a very honest firm to work for or do business with book your taxi with a one man company these are shysters
Booked a taxi for 3pm. At 5 past 3 I called to see if the taxi had parked somewhere and was told he'll be 2 minutes, I then text at 3.11 to find out the location, no response. I called again at quarter past and the taxi pulled up as the phone was answered. Taxi driver didn't speak at all, not a hello much less a sorry or explanation. Honestly disgusted with the service- not only the lateness but also no apology or explanation. It was booked for a specific time for a specific reason and that lateness has cost lot. Appalled in the overall experience, including the false information given by the company over location.
Great service, booking was efficient and we were provided written confirmation. There were last minute changes to our flight, including returning a day earlier and this was dealt with by Murphys without any problems. Our booking was a return airport run, leaving Market Harborough at 2am.The driver was prompt and text to let us know he was outside. He was very courteous and loaded our luggage for us. On the return journey the driver called to say he was circling the airport and to give him a call as soon as we were through luggage collection and likewise when we did he loaded our luggage. Great service from everyone, in particular Steph & Tracy for their help with the moving bookings!
Booked a taxi to and from the station, via email so no confusion. I got collected as arranged but when I arrived in Harborough at 2330, no taxi and office shut as bank holiday!!! No local availability so I had to walk home. I've been left no choice but to warn everyone not to book with Murphy's as they have ignored my communications asking why I wasn't collected. Don't risk booking with them!

They drove us to the Airport early morning. Driver texted to said he had arrived was on time and was very helpful and polite loaded the suitcases in to the car. We had a very steady and smooth drive to the Airport arrived on time again driver very helpful getting suitcases out for us. Booking was very easy by email and when we used their land line staff were polite and helpful. Would defiantly use again and would recommend any one to use them.
