I have a large conservatory 17' x 12' fitted with luovolite roof blinds which are in excellent condition apart from a few broken cords. Noticing Murphy's Blinds mentioned Luovolite blinds on their website I contacted the company to politely enquire if they did repairs? The response from Aidan was curt and to the point. Aidan ended his reply by questioning why the company who supplied them could not repair them. He emphasized his irritation at my request with the use of two ??. Seriously unprofessional! I had not mentioned that the original company had gone out of business which is why I am making inquiries from other companies but even so? Anyway I now need new blinds. I will not be contacting Aidan for a quote. I advise others to avoid this company if a simple enquiry/request causes such annoyance I'd hate to see how Aidan deals with more complicated customer service issues?
Got blinds from here more than a year ago. Blinds are really good quality and I was happy with the price. When the blinds were fitted originally the employee had not fitted one set correctly / had the wrong size. This resulted in the blind collapsing and denting the wooden floor / damaging the particular blinds. The owner decided to come down and have look and then agreed to fit new blinds himself which was good but wasn’t concerned with the damage to the floor. He passed the blame on the way society has become and how people expect too much these days which I thought was quite unfair / unprofessional. The reality was that his employee had put up the blind incorrectly and damaged the floor in the process. I would have let it go and used this store again but the fact that he didn’t offer any money back / try to fix the floor cemented my decision not to use this service for any future homes. Good quality blinds but obviously slightly frustrated as I have to eventually pay for someone to fix wooden floor.
Excellent customer service, prompt efficient and all at a very competitive price. That was my experience when I contacted Murphy’s Blinds. The choice of product and practical advice on what type and colour of blind I should fit was extremely helpful and made my task so much easier, thanks Aidan, I can see why you are in this business for so long and wish you continued success. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to family and friends. Thanks again Mary Rogers

I would advise anyone wanting blinds to avoid this place! Aidan is rude, incompetent and highly unprofessional!!!!
Very disappointed with a recent order. The blinds delivered and fitted were entirely different from the order I placed. Plus, the company were highly unprofessional indeed aggressive in dealing with my complaint. Would not recommend.
Found something at Murphy's Blinds that I thought had long since gone ... good old fashioned customer service and a business that went out of its way to get my business. I had got quotes from 3 suppliers for blinds but none could give me exactly what I wanted. Phoned Murphy's - they were out within 2hrs, measured, quoted and assured me they could give me everything I wanted. They did! Blinds made to exact spec and fitted professionally in 7 days and all for £1 cheaper than the lowest quotes from others, who weren't giving me everything I needed . Should have just phoned Murphy's in the first place. Special mention to Aiden who was first rate in all his dealings with me. Wish I had a few Aidens working for me! Would definitely recommend and will be using them again myself in the near future.
