Popped in this morning to pick up a bag of cold-lay tarmac and both shop and store staff were extremely polite, helpful and knowledgable. Good value product too. Excellent all round.

We have purchased everything for our self build through Murdock's because their knowledge and service has always been better than elsewhere, and their price is competitive. Alastair has been really helpful in helping keep us right with any problems we had

Ordered some decorative garden stone. Found staff very helpful, namely Julie and Roy. The guys in the yard were very knowledgeable and as a regular joe public not a tradesman or contractor i felt valued . Delivery was perfect as well.

Needed a couple of items from a hardware store, so I checked them out on the internet. Got prices and was going to order, so I decided to phone a few local hardware stores thinking they would be a lot more expensive. Was very surprised that Murdock's was a lot cheaper, when I called in the staff were very helpful and as I am disabled he carried everything out to car and made sure everything was stored safely in the car. If would recommend that if you are going to buy online because you assume it's cheaper phone around and you might be surprised that you can buy local cheaper. I will be using Murdock's more often.
