Daughter just moved in. Appears to meet her needs. Standard basic student accomodation in reasonable condition. 1000s of new students so should be easy to make friends and have fun. Time will tell whether conducive to studying!
I stayed here in first year and its a good place to meet people and the surrounding area is good for walks. however staff failed to remove my violent flatmate and it could be quite unsafe. also there wasn't a communal living room/couch in the flats. the rent was really good compared to Glasgow west end. was also a bit far from uni but I did host a good flat party there
Was appalled by the horrendous reviews by previous stayers, however, upon checking in, rooms were rather clean and facilities are upgraded and modern. Kitchen facilities are fine however pots and pans are somewhat damaged. Rooms are nice with comfortable beds but with thin pillows. Bedsheets has signs of pethairs and carpet has plenty of hairs that are not my own. Vacuums and brooms are present and can be used to clean your rooms to your liking. Considering it's about 388pounds for 18 days. I'll say it's a pretty good deal
Nice accommodation, comparable to hotels, just without the breakfast, but overall a nice place to stay if you are a student.
Basically slums, the people there were nice but the rooms were awful, covered in dirt and mould. Rip off for £140 a week. Avoid
Internet provider sucks, cuts out at least once every day. The accomodation provider is stricter than other providers, you will be fined wherever possible. Only thing going for it is that the other students here are great and the cleaners are nice.
My friend was staying here and I came over to visit a few times, it's a very modern student village and I would often feel jealous of people living here. It's in a great location and there's always a party going on in the village. I do think the security here is good even for late hours too.
Pleasantly surprised after reading mixed reviews. Nice and clean, well heated. Excellent internet, kitchens ok. Big bed in rooms, nice furniture in good condition, showers and toilets in good repair, though basic. Shame the flats dont have a living room, but it seems a great place to get used to living away from home.
Very clean with ample parking. It's a bit far from Glasgow university
It's early days, just dropped off daughter for her first year. Room seems smaller than her older sisters had in their first years. At Different Uni's and considering there are 10 students sharing one kitchen in the flat, there is not much fridge/freezer space less than a shelf each or cupboard space. No common lounge area in the flat, just the kitchen. On the plus side it feels like it will be warm. I also wonder if just 2 toilets and showers will be enough.
