Wow!!! What else can I say about this little big restaurant!! Goodness God!! Simply awesome. Though the resaurant space is small, The food and service made us feel heavenly. Very cost effective and heavenly food. It has been a long while we enjoyed such taste. We have ordered idly with vada portion and another idly only portion which tasted like amma’s food for us and then we had chicken fried rice and butter chicken which we started eating with cutleries but eventually dig in with our fingers lol.. soo tasty!! Then we had masala dosa and also Chicken kothu!! Yummy . Our family of 3 enjoyed those a lot a-lot alotttt….  Thank you Mugil for this awesome food and service.

Discovering Mugil South Indian Restaurant was like finding a culinary treasure in Birmingham. The Chicken Biryani was a fragrant delight, with perfectly spiced, tender chicken nestled among fluffy rice grains, striking a balance between aromatic and flavorful. The Chicken Kothu was a textural masterpiece, with layers of chopped parotta, chicken, and spices mingling in a delicious dance. And the Mushroom Manchurian? An explosion of umami, with juicy mushrooms coated in a savory, tangy sauce that had just the right kick. Each dish was a testament to authentic Indian cooking, masterfully prepared to evoke the essence of its origins. It’s a joy to find such authenticity and quality so far from India, a true testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs. Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of Indian cuisine at its best!

Lunch for our friend's son's birthday party is ordered from Mugil restaurant. The food is authentically south Indian and tasty.  Kids liked the mutton biryani and chicken Manchurian.  Highly recommended. Plan to visit again for dine in.

Awesome Family Feast at Mugil South Indian Restaurant!nnJust had a fab dinner with the family at Mugil and it was a total win! We kicked off with the Chicken Manchurian – spicy, tangy, and just the right amount of crunch. The Egg Veechu Parata was a flaky, eggy delight, totally on point. Then came the Chicken Masala Dosa, stuffed with flavor and a real crowd-pleaser. The Chicken Kothu was a mix of everything good – spicy, hearty, and hit the spot. And the Chicken Fried Rice? Fluffy, flavorful, and tasted just like it does in South Tamil Nadu. Authentic flavors that took us straight to Tamil Nadu! Totally recommend Mugil for a chilled out, tasty family meal. 5 stars for sure!
