Amazing toy store, all what you need will found there, for Lego lovers its a treasure, rare models and discounts, my son was surprised than when he visited Lego land shop, we also got Free Lego small packs it is the perfect place to find your toy
I love Lego. This place is a toy lover's paradise. It has everything from building blocks for friends to bicycles for adults. I know more about Lego, some of the prices here are special, and you can find products from a long time ago. The staff were also very friendly and it was a great experience.
Bought a gaming headset for my boy on his request using his Smyths gift card. After around 20min. of playing and chatting with friends, he complained about very poor quality of chat and cracking noises in the headphones. Next day my wife took the headphones back to store to return them due to being faulty. Store refused to accept the return claiming that they've tested them and working fine wonder what makes them qualified for it?, and blamed setup of our gaming console. When my wife disagreed and said again that she still wants to return them, duty manager started to be very rude towards her and said tha product was used and now they can't accept return due to the hygiene concerns. Ironically, hygiene didn't concerned them when the guy behind the counter and duty manager were both "testing" headphones and both have them on their heads. Arogancy of the duty manager towards the customer and in front of our children, was totally unacceptable. in my life, I've had a few unplesant situations with regards to customer service, but never as bad as my wife and kids experienced in Aberdeen Smyths store. On the other hand, I know that it only takes one bad apple to spoil the basket.
Absolutely loved the place as adults. Like we returned to our childhood. Lovely toys
First time ever being in Smyths. They have such a large selection of Toys and Games. I took my daughter and she was amazed. It is every 3 year olds dream toystore. Everything was very well priced I expected it to be more expensive so it surprised me to see how affordable everything was. The Staff were very friendly and helpful so I will certainly return.
Too many toys and half of them are like 20 metres high nice and close too beach though and look at this view
I love this shop and i go there every week to buy pokemon cards but me and my friends got told that where banned because someone stole somthing and they thought it was us. Am not going to lie we spend over £160 on pokemon cards and they think we steal. Ok 1 month ago one of my friends friend came with us he has autism and had no money so he took one pack and opened it but we didnt know that he did it until the nice manager came and said we left respectfuly and from that day we started to open packs outside because we made a lot of mess last time. So smyths please let us buy pokemon cards again:
Ordered online and collected from Store. Never in this place a lot but always find the staff helpful and polite. Called as item once out of box had a broken part. Called store and they couldn’t be more helpful. Collected the new item and again staff were faultless, friendly and polite, a rare thing these days in Big Stores.
Wide variety of toys for all ages but I was a bit surprised at the cost of some of them. For items that kids are supposed to play with and likely give a lot of wear and tear to, they seemed to be very overpriced. That aside, the access was good, staff friendly and helpful, and did their best to make the experience comparitively smooth.
Christmas shopping at Smyths, Pros: I found the store to be well set out and things were easy to find. The aisles were wide enough to fit two shopping trolleys side by side. The store also had public toilets. The staff were helpful and were looking to help me whenever I seen on in an aisle. The checkouts were well manned which was nice and cut down on the wait to pay for my goods. Cons: The shopping trolleys for the store were all outside with none in the store which made finding them hard if you missed seeing them on the way into the store. You also need a £1 to use the trolleys which you get back after you return the shopping trolley. Top tip: Check online for money off vouchers before you visit the store.
