We have ordered food twice from this place - the exact same thing both times. The first time was absolutely perfect! The second time which was yesterday was absolutely foul. We asked to take off bananas and it comes with strawberries instead we got a load iof raspberries and when we called to sort it out the manager was inceredbily rude and they hadn’t put strawberries because they had ‘ran out. I will not be ordering from here again simply because they could’ve sorted it out yet it took 3 hours and they did not plus i paid £15 for two waffles. If I could post the pictures I would !!! Do not order from here unless you wanted to be very disappointed!
I went 14/11/2020 on Saturday with my friends. They came from far away just to have dessert. We ordered double chocolate cookie dough. It's uncooked. Also doesn't test at all. Iscream was disgusting. We throw everything in bin .Just waste of money.
Half of the toppings on the cookie dough were missing and the wrong ones put on to the waffles. The cookie dough had a funny smell to it and a couple of hours later we were both sick. Definitely would not recommend.
I am thoroughly disappointed at the service. I ordered two cookie dough, as advertised on uber eats. When only one was delivered we called to enquire about the missing cookie dough. They said that they no longer provided two, despite the description. When we complained the staff became rude and refused to acknowledge they may be wrong.
Ordered on ubereats, i had a message off the delivery driver to say he put it on my door step which he hadn't. So i contacted him and told him that there was no food on my doorstep and he told me it was there. When actually he delivered it to a totally different address on a different road which I told him told him that there was no order on my door step and he put the phone down on me and havent heard from him since. I also contacted the shop to tell them what had happened and the lady that was on the phone also put the phone down. The people who work in this shop are rude& unprofessional and rubbish service. will never be ordering from this place again.
I ordered from them for the first time today, it we also be my last!! I ordered a bubblegum sundae, Ferrero Roche sundae and a oreo milkshake everything was tasteless and just screamed cheap also delivery took forever. Do yourself a favour AVOID!! Before you say I'm not genuine my mrs made the order!!
The sundae I ordered was wrong it had banana pieces in instead of strawberry peices and the sundae was very watery and definately was not worth what I paid for it. Other parts of the sundae were missing wafer curl. Won't order from here again. I phoned Mr Gelato about this and the lady was very unhelpful.
Ordered desserts - terrible and fake, Nutella was cheap chocolate sauce, cookie dough was stale, wrong ice cream, ferro Roche waffle was a just cheap wafers, put banana on strawberry only waffle, ingredients were all cheap substitutes and just eat refused to help and manager unavailable every time I called for refund. Just eat woujd not refund without managers say so. Will be contacting ombudsman. Do not buy from them
Following our fortnightly swingers' party, we made the decision to order from Mr Gelato. We have just finished our ill-judged, late night car crash of a dessert. The conversation around the table currently consists generally of dismayed "I can't believe I just spent £4 on that" and "I've had far nicer nuts in my mouth at half eleven at night than these", and frankly these quips are well founded. I've seen more efficient delivery in a mother having a miscarriage, and when the luke-warm semi-liquified ice cream did finally arrive just the forty five minutes later than stated, it was clear that our excitement would turn rapidly to disappointment in the coming minutes. The cookie dough had the texture and appearance of diarrhoea that had gone through a Nutribullet and was swimming in enough oil that America was trying to invade it. This would've been okay if the ice cream was of adequate quality to save it but unfortunately this was not the case. Firstly, I'm convinced each flavour is the same with a different colouring, the "Dairy Milk" flavour was definitely the same as regular chocolate, and the "jaffa cake" one had the consistency of backed up ejaculate. Overall, the entire experience was a complete catastrophe, and I'm sure to have given myself type II diabetes from this dessert's consumption. I hope I have recovered sufficiently by our next orgy, where I shall hopefully receive a much more satisfactory cream pie.
Such a good range of flavours! If there’s 1 thing I’d pick on it’d have to be THE BOGEY I found on my waffle. Never one to pick on things but when a big ol green lump is sat on your banoffle waffle you have to complain. I have to draw the line somewhere. Completely sent me into a spiral now I’m worried for my own health after this. Mentally and physically.
