I had an excellent experience at Mountwood Surgery. I had used their triaging forms to ask for an appointment and within 10 minutes I got a call from the surgery to come in for an appointment because they had a cancellation. Dr Payal Peshawaria was amazing. She was absolutely understanding and examined and reassured me very very quickly. Her bedside manner is amazing and she knew exactly what she was talking about. This has really helped my confidence both in the diagnosis as well as the Mountwood Surgery. My experience with the Mountwood Surgery has consistently been very good, having moved into the area two years ago.
Been with the surgery for many years after I got fed up with the poor service at another local Surgery . Mountwood has always been excellent.nNever difficult to see a doctor when we my wife or me has needed to, and we appreciate the regular follow up after consultation. There is a dangerously incompetent new GP partner there, whose lack of knowledge of NICE guidelines has endangered her entire practice by potentially exposing everyone to a contagious disease. A formal complaint has been sent. I have good experiences with other GPs there so I haven't given the practice the lowest possible score, however the fact they made someone so incompetent a partner, does not bode well for the future.
I have only been Mountwood for a few months, but the care and attention I have received in these few months has been exceptional. This is the best surgery I have ever been registered with and I cannot rate them highly enough. If you are within their catchment area then I stronly recommend you consider becoming a Mountwood patient. The care you will receive will be second to none.
