Really convenient as my boots got a hole in them mid holiday in The Lakes. Popped in here in the evening. Tried a few pairs on and a helpful staff member who fitted boots for her old job gave me some really helpful tips that enabled me to buy some really comfy out of the box walking shoes for the next day. Very good customer service and a really good price for some good walking boots. Not loads of sizes available, I'm an 8 which meant there are quite a few. But they need more sizes in stock. Also got a really lovely walking top with the Isocool technology from £40 to £15!
If you want accessories and clothing a great place to visit with fair pricing for the quality . Staff really friendly and helpful too. Light on camping gear above mugs and plates, chairs though.

I’m nearly 50 and still too young for this shop. My problem with MW is it really doesn’t know what it is. Are they selling comfy utility wear to pensioners or genuinely stocking quality outdoor kit. In amongst flip flops, pet toys, kids games and awful pink grandma fleeces I'm sure there might be something useful here but it would never be my destination of choice for outdoor kit.
Irritating receipt system where they ask for an email address, and still give you a paper one. Store clean and tidy although staff drinking on shop floor by clothes seemed a strange choice. Can be quite pricey but have things on offer frequently
Always get my allotment coats and boots here when they have a sale on. For the price it's decent gear.

Got what we went for and more. Staff very friendly and helpful. Were even able to order items to be delivered FOC because they weren't in stock in store. Great customer service, we'll definitely be a repeat customer
Allows dogs! Decent outdoor products at great prices.
My daughter got a 2 in 1 waterproof jacket. Should have been £170. Paid £55. She's very happy.
