Nice clean pit stop,made a stop here on the way to Sheffield and again on the way home. Large spacious car park, the service point itself is fairly large has an M&S simply food store ,Burger king,Costa coffee,news agent come snack shop and an amusement arcade. Really good well appointed restroom's And a centrally positioned seating area. Only Costa coffee and the arcade were open late at night on the way home. Filled up with fuel at filling station which is along side (mistake a lot dearer than in town). Has disabled and baby changing facilities ,shower available also has electric car charging points.

We use these services frequently as a place to meet parents and drop off or pick up the kids. There is a Burger King, a Gregg's and a Costa as well as the usual shop and a M & S food shop. There is a small area for younger children to play. The toilets are adequate with shower facilities. There is a separate room for baby changing with a toilet in for children.

This roadway stop is like so many others here in the UK with all the usual amenities. It was tidy and there because people need to stop at times. It was clean and warm and had Costa, M&S, Kentucky and others. The food was hot and the tea was wet. Of course the most striking thing was cost. £5.10 for 2 cups of tea! Horrific and shocking considering its water, tea leaves and a tiny bit if milk. We stopped for a break and should have just slept in the car! Well never mind the warning stands for others and by the way coffee was even more expensive.

Cash machines were not free. WC was fairly clean. Assistant at Marks was really nice lady.

They've made this place worse than it was! So it's always been a bug bear of mine that toilets are right at the far end of most services forcing you to walk passed all the shops on the way through, but now at these services they've gone one step further by putting a dining area in the way! So you've either got to trip over people eating their lunch to get to the toilet, or barge passed people in the ever lengthening queue for fast food which trails around the entire walkway. As with most services, prices are ridiculously over prices, fast food is ridiculously slow and the toilets are gross and full. The car park is always empty which is a bonus but that's due to the fact that the services are so far off the beaten track that no body goes there! So why they needed all of that extra seating is beyond me! Everyone that does go there seems to only be interested in Burger King!! Unnecessary speed bumps on the way out back to the motorway nicely round off a truly miserable journey break.
