I visited Birch Services on Friday and was extremely disappointed to find that, despite having a massive car park, there are only four disabled parking bays available. This is a glaring oversight and shows that Moto Services are not taking accessibility for disabled customers seriously. This is not the first time I've encountered such issues at Moto Services locations. It is clear that there is a pattern of neglect when it comes to accommodating disabled individuals. I hope that Moto Services will address this issue promptly and provide more accessible parking options in the future. Until then, I would advise anyone requiring accessible parking to look for alternatives.
Plenty of shops within, the must have Costa Coffee and modern toilets. Its all here.
Only been to Birch services a few times but I must say the services are a decent size, everything from Toilets to Fast food takeaway aways to gambling machines, Shops etc. Ample parking, Electric charging ports a plenty, Hotel next to the services, Plenty of disabled car parking spaces and same for Mother and child places. The services are spotlessly clean and can't fault anything. 5
Easy access from M62 .... lots of parking close to entrance. The parking is free upto 2 hours. There are a number of eating places inside including Greg's, WH Smiths, M&S Food, Costa, Burger King plus others. There is a petrol station and a hotel on site. Toilets are available and a slot machine area 18 years and over. There were homeless people camped in the doorway. The main eating area was really noisy with a high ceiling which made it echo when chairs scrapped on the floor.
Called for fuel on way home, great choice of snacks and drinks in the shop on fuel for court. And usual Highly inflated fuel prices. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Called here for a snack and drink on way to Wales recently... not 1st time I've been and probably won't be the last everything has always been spot on when visiting here m&s have good variety of items for a service station, Greggs is always hot and fresh, costa under staffed on this occasion 1 lad trying to deal with 6+ customers but he remained calm and proffesional
Good sandwiches from m & s. Toilets were clean. Not too busy when we stopped.
Always like this service station, plenty of parking and no hassle getting in and out. Nice selection of food and drink. Shops to browse to stretch the legs of humans and little people. I always stop for a Greg's coffee. Plenty of seating inside and some outside.
This used to be called Granada, same as the TV company. There once was a motorway service company called Rank, it was, and should have won an award under the Trades Description Act. When will we get decent standards for the traveling public?
Mens toilets in a comtainer, the only reason was to make way to move the womens toilets into where the mens actually were, while a refit of the womens goes ahead. How about putting the womens toilets outside in a container instead of the blokes? I certainly won't be having a sh1t out there they were a disgrace!
