Good facilities, easy to get to.nGreat badminton facilities. Nets go to the edge, the posts are exactly in line with the outer tram lines. Plenty of space around the hall, the floor is cushioned and really amenable for jumpsmash.nnSeparate hall for football, but the hall isn't as nice, and older harder floor.nnThe price has gone a little for the hr booking on badminton, but still one of the best badminton halls around locally.
Good variety of sport facilities, big parking space. It can be tricky to find entrance when you are first time as it's easy to miss.
me and my mates went on an open pitch as I needed to get my bag the caretaker shouted at us to go away without letting me get my bag. There were kids that were playing without booking and thats what we were about to do however he shouted at us to go away whilst the caretakers friend and his children played on the astro. This is discrimination we are not happy!
Badminton courts need maintenance. Difficult to spot entrance as GPS takes to the other side which is not accessible. Entrance is located between residential properties so very difficult to spot. The facilities are ok, can play plenty of sports. Centre is aging needs some refurbishment
All weather pitch.nnLots of Floodlights bulbs? need replacing. Very dark playing conditions on the all weather pitch during these winter months. Accident waiting to happen? 04/01/22.nnUpdate. Jan '24nnBeautiful new playing surface laid at the end of 2023, just shame they couldn't have invested the same amount in the lighting. The replacement floodlights since my last review seem well below par, to the point where parts of the pitch are actually dark if you're playing on a winter's evening. Possibly has something to do with light pollution as it's in a residential area. Roll on summer
