Best one by far in Essex. Really big. Nice bakery and butchers. Always helpful about how to cook the meat I buy. Really clean. Has loos and key shop. Plus photo machine for changing phone photos to printed ones. Just wish it had a pharmacy like some of the others. But apart from that. It’s great place to do big food shop.
Twice now my wife tried to get prize money on scratch cards back 1st time she was told the scanner was not working the second time she was abruptly told I'm not doing that many 5 tickets there was three of them talking to each other and there was no other customers waiting. I think staff need retraining in customer care.
Stay away from the cafe! I was told they didn't know how to make a poached egg even though it was on their menu! So I had scrambled instead. I sent it back! It was put on toast the toast was wet and soggy the egg was bland and over cooked so how my toast was wet I have no idea!
Personally I love Morrisons, such a great range of produce and what a treat to see this knitted post box top with Captain Sir Tom in pride of place on top. Beautiful. It made my day, that and picking up the afternoon tea platter and meeting up with my family for the first time since Christmas day for a much needed outdoor picnic in the glorious sunshine. Thanks Morrisons.
A little more expensive than other supermarkets but generally que time is minimal and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I do like the fresh bakery and pizza stand, the pizza's are priced very well and you can choose your own toppings. The toilets are generally clean and the store generally has everything in stock. As a shop you can't really fault Morrisons but the cafe is terrible. Everytime I've been there after looking at the menu and queuing for a few minutes I've been told what is on the menu isn't available. The cafe is generally messy and it's often the case that the tea/coffee machine is out of one thing or another. Shop good, cafe bad.
Most of the staff are very friendly and happy. My main issue is around 4-6pm the number of tills open is sometimes down to just the minimum therefore the self service area becomes over crowded. Self service should really be for small shopping and not large loads. Either have more till operators or add more general tills for self usage as currently only 2.

Thier was hardly any staff on the tills and only one member of staff on 10 self scan tills he had 7 red lights and there was a manager on his mobile phone and didn't offer to help him all of the staff looked very unhappy whitch is a big shame as when I worked at Morrisons we was always happy and never showed customers when we wasn't
