We visited the store today for breakfast in the cafe. When we were finished we decided to pick up one or two items from the store before we left. My partner was looking at the razors that were on offer, wasting time whilst I looked at baby clothes, then as we moved to a different aisle we were approached by a very angry floor manager and multiple staff accusing my partner of stealing razors! They were rude, aggressive and the manner in which they approached us was terrifying. The floor manager- Helen was extremely rude and kept shouting at us causing a huge scene in the store. The manager Mark came over to help diffuse the situation but by then the damage had already been done. They demanded to know where the razors were so my partner took Helen to the shelf and she stormed away in a snotty manner. No apology offered and we decided to leave the store, even when it was proved that we did nothing wrong. The whole situation caused me to have a panic attack outside of the store and it was only at this point that the store manager offered an apology. I will never shop here again. I'm utterly embarrassed.
Problems with locking trolley cubicle today but a lovely assistant called Leah came to my rescue. Lovely attitude towards customers - nothing too much trouble and no problem insurmountable. A real credit to the store. Leah
Absolutely shocking. Your expected to self scan over £200 worth of shopping on the self scan when I had my 2 toddlers with me..... as they turn all the tills off after 8pm. And to make things worse they don't have any bags at the self scan anymore. I asked a lady where they were and she just told me "on the back wall" she didn't even bother to help me. I couldn't leave my babies and walk across the store therefore I had to put all the shopping into the trolley...... this has happened a few times now and I most definitely not be returning. This store has definitely went down hill. The place is a joke
Had coffee in Morrisons cafe and it was horrible. Unclean, no cups, no cutlery, till doesn't work,staff unable to help, tables not cleared. Manager was at pains to assure us it wasn't her fault. No redeeming features.
What a terrible shopping experience at this Morrisons. The music was too loud for one as we entered the store. Now what was more shocking was what we witnessed next. We went to the delli counter which we saw some egg and pork pie that we like. The assistant was adjusting her hair which is normal I know. We asked for the bigger pie that was sealed in wrapping. On top of that slice was an unwrapped slice which the assistant picked up with her uncovered hand that she was just running thru her hair. She may have had a clean head but surely when handling food you would expect a pair of gloves to be worn. Morrisons I think a training on food handling is required for all your deli staff don't you?
Staff always pleasant but look like they are stressed all the time. Need to improve on cleanliness and hygiene. Plates in chilled food all look dirty teaspoons at coffee stand all dirty have to search for a clean cup to use. Not blaming staff but maybe they need a bit of encouragement to keep a check on hygiene..
Absolute disgrace of a store. No staff on tills, your expected to use self serve tills and when they go wrong the staff are to busy chatting to help. Freezers are always empty and most are broke. Toilets are stinking hand dryers broken shock and no hand soap to clean. Avoid this place like the plague. It's atrocious
It's a good shopping centre but prices are high here than other stores . Otherwise it's a better place to shop and hang on .
I had excellent service from a member of staff at customer service. Despite being very busy she enabled me to sign up for a more card that enabled me to get a lamb roast at half price. She also explained how I would get extra benefits. Thank you
Usually visit a smaller branch. The layout is completely different e. g. Fishmonger at front and not next to butcher at the back. Fish counter unattended. Too few attended checkouts. Coin needed for trolley. Vegetables and fruit mixed up. Shelves too high for small/elderly people. Tall shelf stacks and narrow aisles claustrophobic. Typical of Morrisons everywhere.
