I only went into this supermarket three times, and literally, every single time, there was a problem.nnFirst time, a bottle of water didn’t have a label. The staff member said it was part of a multipack, but multipacks clearly say “not to be sold separately.” I had to stand there arguing about a bottle of water until eventually someone sorted it out.nnSecond time there was another issue, though I can’t even remember what it was now.nnThen today I went in to buy chocolate rolls for my class. The label underneath clearly said they’d gone down from £2.50 to £1.50; I'd even taken a photo because I had a gut feeling there’d be a problem. Sure enough, the machine scanned them at £2.50. I then wasted another 10 minutes while staff worked out that someone had apparently put the whole stack in the wrong place.nnI got so frustrated I just left without buying anything.nnI won’t be going back there again. I’d rather carry everything I need from Cambridge on the bus than shop at this Morrisons ever again.
Staff helpful, shop well presented. One disappointment, I had a money off voucher which I had left at home and this could not be reprinted in the store. Other supermarkets are able to provide this service.
Great store, well laid out, lots of specialty areas. Plenty of staff on duty. Ample car parking. Reminded us of a French supermarket. Pity more supermarket’s aren’t like this.
A very good supermarket with just about everything you need for your weekly shop. Highly recommended
Edit August 2025: looks like they had a refurb and drumroll it doesn’t stink anymore! And the aircon seems to be actually working. Well done, but why did it take so long?nnOriginal review from 2022:nUnforgettable stench of rotten fish, emanating from the fish counter, follows you around the store. Unfortunately, it is the only supermarket in Cambourne. I wish we had a better place to do the shopping! Edit: on 12 June I witnessed a few Things That Should Not Be, see attached pictures. The fish smell issue got slightly better, but the air con is still generally very bad in this store, as if it was just recirculating the bad air from the ovens and the fish & meat counters, rather than pumping fresh air from the outside.nUpdate July 2023: it still stinks badly in there!!!
