We had an afternoon tea, was really nice. 3 choices of sandwiche, 2 scones with jam n cream, cake and brownie and little cheesecake pots.
Best tiger rolls anywhere and, only place I know that sells salt and pepper rolls. Lady on the Pizza counter was nice only to be trumped by the lovely lady on the hot counter. I ceased shopping in Morrisons due to the awful service on these counters at Kendal. But it is safe to shop at Barrow store. We have made use of the cafe on many occasions and the staff there are always nice. Meals are good as long as you don't want chips. The chips are, in my opinion, pretty awful. Facilities are always clean. You can't have everything, right?
Staff and management are just the worst. I love the food but being served by people who look at you like they really done want you there. Absolute zero customer service
Bought fresh cauliflower today got home making lunch when I found cauliflower covered in baby slugs quality very poor
I don't know what has happened with Morrisons but even taking into account the cost of living crisis the prices have sky rocketed, £5.75 for an 18 multipack of hula hoops, £1.20 for their own range tin of beans and sausage, 65p in Aldi..won't be going in again, but I suppose that someone has to pay for all their shop refits...that cost being put squarely at the customers door.
Called in for a couple bits of shopping and decided to have a meal in the restaurant, we decided on 1full breakfast and 1vegy full breakfast 1 cappuccino. When they came looking forward to them disappointed they were barely warm won't go again..
Went to the cafe for breakfast. It was nice but unfortunately cold. The cafe could do with being warmer too!
Oh dear what a shambles the cafe is dirty badly run I waited 55 mins for a breakfast that was delivered to my table by a member of staff who,s uniform was filthy I was missing itemstoast and when mentioned was ignored such a shame as it was once my go to place for breakfast
Bought steaks and they were vile and riddled is inedible stringy fat. Not happy with the fresh products
What's happened to the Morrisons famous breakfast? Everything was cold, NOT FRESH egg snotty. Coffee cold. So disappointing!
