We were visiting beautiful Alnwick yesterday and shopped in Morrisons, as we do often. We noticed lots of offers on the morrisons more card, which I needed.nTHANK YOU SO MUCH KATHLEEN !! nAsked advice from a lovely friendly and VERY helpful member of staff. Her name was KATHLEEN and a Team Leader in the store. Within minutes, she'd scanned a new card for me to use immediately and gave me a leaflet with information on how to register my card online etc. It meant I got those discounts on my shopping done yesterday. I was very impressed with her professionalism and helpful manner, nothing was too much trouble.nnThe shop is located in Alnwick town centre, look for old bus station. It is always well stocked, fresh bread, fish, meats, nice fruit and veg, plenty of choices, clean and tidy.nnThanks for all your help Kathleen and to all the staff, who have always been friendly and helpful here.nI must recommend getting your Morrisons More card. x
Paige who works the click and collect orders was amazing, really attentive and helped us get what we needed. On a day when all the tech issues were happening she was still friendly and had a great attitude, thanks again for all your help Paige!
Morrisons in Alnwick is a brilliant shop. The staff are always friendly, polite and efficient. It's always well stocked and always absolutely spotlessly clean. It's definitely 5 stars. Thanks to all the staff and a very merry Christmas to you all.
Not all that staff don't seem happy at all. And it's so expensive if you don't have a Morrisons more card. £5 for options hot chocolate mint. Unless you have the app it's £2:50 I warn you now to get the app it will save you loads. The quality has also gone down by far. Tesco is so much better. Ended up going to ashington Asda.
Had a terrible experience here. I was buying a bottle of alcohol and the lady asked for my ID. I showed her my BRP and she refused to sell the alcohol because she claimed that the ID card had to be “biometric”. Sorry Madam? BRP stands for BIOMETRIC residence permits and it is issued by the UK government. My date of birth and photo are displayed in the ID card as well. I had no issues getting in any casinos or clubs and buying alcohol in other supermarkets except Morrisons. Can Morrisons’ alcohol policy be more clarified and aligned with other supermarkets? Wish their staffs could be more well-trained.
