I bought a very large cream Victoria sponge the other day and at the till I jokingly asked Rosie and Marlenenif they had any idea how I could get it home intact. Together they sourced a sturdy box for me, they packaged it to fit as well. They were both 'above and beyond' in helping me and It was so nice of them, I thought that they were a credit to Morrison's and the customer service. Well done! On another note - the bicycle rack provision is woeful at the Gosport store. There is one small, rusty rack shoved in a corner so that half the rack is inaccessable leaving space only for 3 bikes to be piled on top of each other. As my bike was over £2000 I'm not too pleased with people leaning their bikes on mine and no other secure facilities. I'd love to see some of the heavy hoops that they have in town, at Waitrose and Asda.
Good shop. Some promotion available. It was not my first choice before but because is close to my home I started to shop there and found out that is not bad.
What a disappointment from our last visit a very unhappy time unfortunately.nIt's usually busy and depending on time of day can be really manic.nAnyway, my wife, Grandson and myself arrived at 12:45 and it was busy/chaotic and being totally understaffed didn't help the situation. This is possibly why our order was all wrong!nI asked for the children meal deal pizza, potato waffles & beans which included a drink, received pizza chips and a bucket load of vegetables.nAlso ordered the breakfast deal bacon roll WHOLEMEAL and tea, received a doorstep WHITE bread sandwich.nMy wife ordered a jacket potato with cheese n beans and although that's what she got it was disgusting heaven knows how long it was in the microwave for!!! Every dish was on a plate which was slightly bigger than a T plate.nA total disappointing experience! and to top it off when I complained calmly not losing my temper, no one cared and did absolutely nothing. Absolutely shocking and disgusted. Jim
Ridiculous treatment by a couple of members of miserable jobsworth staff today in-store.nnI have been coming to this store, among others over the past 3 years, even during lockdown, with the company of my parrotlet companion.nnI have never once been stopped and/or told that Morty My Parrotlet was not welcome in-store. He is in a sealed backpack and he does nothing but bring a smile to anyone that sees him.nnToday I was approached while at the checkout and told quite abruptly that he was not allowed in store, I would actually class the interaction as rude.nnI appreciate store policy would be not usually to allow ordinary animals in-store for hygiene reasons ie cats and dogs, for obvious reason.nnThere is zero harm in Morty accompanying me in his sealed backpack, infact he is a positive addition to any place I visit with him.nnIs it because he's not a paying customer?nnIn that case why don't you ban children to?nnTo the lady shop assistant who approached me with the complaint. I think someone needs to give her a hug, she is obviously sad.
It's ok, can get very busy when trying to park and or shop. Nice selection of food but not my main goto Supermarket.nnWish they offered more choice of Rolling tobacco as can't get mine from there anymore.nnCafe is ok, but not the best.
