Rare visit. Had a voucher to spend. A good broad range of provisions and got some clothing for my daughters. A treat and not a regular shopper due to the eye watering bill.
Review for CAFE ONLYnVery quiet when we had a late lunch today, a Tuesday, ordered the fish and chips for two, at £7 each I wasn’t expecting very much, £17 including 2 coffees. I was astonished with what arrived… my partner’s battered cod looked like a whale, hanging off the plate. Cod lightly battered and white fish, the chips were crisp.nThe lady who served us was lovely.nThe store lost a star because many empty tables were unclean and the cutlery, knives especially, were greasy. We cleaned them! The cuppa we took to the coffee machine were stained. The coffee was not good.nOnly one member of staff covering the whole restaurant and counter.nBut the food great… in Pembrokeshire at various fish n chips shops and cafes, they are now charging £34 for two!!
Last week I purchased 3 of 40l compost for £12.I went back yesterday to get another 3 bags.The compost had been moved AND HAD NO PRICING DETAILS ON IT.I took the 3 bags to the till and was going to be charged b£15.I REFUSED AND TOOK THE BAGS BACK------CLEVER PRICE MANIPULATION---WILL NOT USE AGAIN.I WILL GET IT IN ALDI
Lacks the choice of branded food compared to Tesco but still provides a wide choice. Morrisons fresh meats, fish and fruit & veg are excellent so well worthy of a mention
Enjoy shopping in Morrisons as apposed to Tesco, nicer atmosphere, they don't carry as much as Tesco but I don't mind that so much im usually only going in for food so don't get carried away buying other things. Bakery always has a nice selection and the salad bar is great. It has a Timpson on premises and a Starbucks in the car park. Always plenty of place to park and they have a great selection of plants especially in the summer.
