This Morrisons is a decent size, well laid out, clean and airy.nUnlike some of the other Morrisons I have visited there were plenty of staff available to answer questions and the checkout moved quite quickly.nI didn’t have much time to shop this last time so was whizzing around but it was good to see a wide range of products in the World Food and the Free From section.nToilets are clean and well appointed. The carpark has 2hours free parking but I usually travel by bus as there is a bus stop just at the edge of the carpark.
It's a decent supermarket , but not enough checkout staff if you won't use self-service. The car park is a good size with two hours of free parking. The problem is if you want longer you can pay for extra time but there are no price details on the signs. You have to use an app on your phone, usually that means it is very expensive so i just go elsewhere.
Large store, well stocked buuuut 2 things:nn1. Bought chicken and it was fowl da dum chhh. Cooked it on the day of purchase and it was inedible. Smelt off when I opened the packet.n2. The staff on the self check-out have such apathy it's unreal. No rush to address problems even if you are waiting for minutes, standing talking and seem irritated when you interrupt their chat. And even when you are polite with your pleases and thank yous, it's not reciprocal.nnBetter shops about.
I don't normally leave reviews but after today I felt I must. I wanted to say a big thankyou to all the staff who helped my husband and I today when he was taken ill 10/02/25 at your Foss islands store. They acted compassionately, caring and efficiently without being asked too making sure we were OK. In this day and age it restores your faith in people and was much appreciated I wish I had got their names they all deserve a big pat on the back, morrisons please note, value your staff there amazing xx
Great supermarket, ok prices but it's very large and has plenty of stuff in it. Better than Waitrose in my humble opinion. 10/10 deli as well, I always get the samosas
