Nice big supermarket just out of Skegness.nHas that rarest of things; a Deli counter.nAlso has a nice big, free car park.
Great place for everyday shopping with an on-site cafe, plenty of parking but confusing as some signs said 2 hours free parking others said 3. Cafe has a selection of hot and cold meals and free refills on tea and coffee .
The cafe realy is a joke and hasn't improved at all since my last visit 2 months ago. Tables filthy and uncleared. Food took over 30 minutes for 2 breakfasts that were very over cooked and cold. Sat surrounded by tables full of used plates and cups is not nice. We left our plates on table did a full shop and they were still there when we left. We used to enjoy a trip to cafe as part of our weekly shop but now it will definitely be a place to avoid.
Went here this lunchtime.Wish we hadnt bothered.nOrdered 2 breakfasts, but couldnt have coffee as the machines were broken. Have to say though that these were back on just as we sat down so we did get coffee after all.nAs to the breakfast:-nI have never had black pudding hard tack biscuits before and my dentist will probably advise me never to try and bite something that hard, ever again.nThe sausages were just awful semi warm and very chewy.nThe one piece of tomato was exceedingly hot. Dont know how.nBaked beans were not exactly Heinz.nThe fried egg was the best of the meal.Well done.nHash browns were OK.nI realise that you probably use the slices from loaves to make sandwiches as you use all the crusts for the fried bread in your breakfast to fill out the volume presentation of the meal to make it look better value. Shame it was overcooked so much it was harder than hardened steel,in places.nIn reference to the portion size of the fried bread referred to before. This makes up for the size of the portion/slice of bacon.nIt was so small, I almost missed it. Did it come from a pig? Guinea Pig that is?
Went here with my granddaughter, ordered sausage and mash childs and sweet potato curry. 10 minutes later I was told no mash potato or sweet potato curry and to reorder. Went back to the front, ordered my granddaughter something different, I was told that I could order from the breakfast menu. I didn't want anything to do with the breakfast. So I ordered a toasted tea cake, only for it to arrive, toasted only one side and cold. Certainly will not be rushing back.
