It is close to our house and that is why we shop there and visit mainly in the evenings but they don’t always have what we go in for. To note there are no staffed checkouts open in the evenings but they do have a self service for trolleys. Roads going in and out need improving but they have repaired some of the pot holes. The products are of good quality and meet the Morrisons standard but they can be more expensive than elsewhere. Therefore you have to look out for their deals. People in the town have to shop here because it stocks some products that cannot be found elsewhere hence the higher prices. This store does ensure food doesn’t go to waste by donating to local food banks. They also encourage customers to give to charity and support the community. They always have plenty of staff and they do help you at the self checkouts. Staff can be happy and helpful but not all of them. Again some staff work hard especially those stacking shelves but not all of them. It is often cold in there and their fridges and freezers always leak leaving large puddles of water. Unfortunately this store is going downhill.
Nice local store which is located near to my wife's works so always popping in. Petrol is also cheaper here too so been filling up recently. The store has a good selection and some good offers but can be dearer than other supermarkets. Also the staff are thin on the ground in the evenings so sometimes have to wait for someone to appear at the self checkouts and tobacco counter. When they do they are generally happy and helpful. Also there are usually no staffed tills open in the evenings but there are self checkouts for trollies.
Everyday the staff at this store ensure that good food doesn’t go to waste by giving away 5-15 trays of produce to local charities and food banks. This is backed by the generous support of customers who also donate 2-4 trays of customer bags each day. The staff work very hard and, even at the busiest times, will smile and point customers who need help and support in the direction of the vicar and other people in the community who care for those who need help. Very grateful for them #TummiesNotLandfill
The shop is looking very tired and a lot of the refrigerators leak on the floor, the whole shop could do with some investment. Fruit & veg not great quality and overall prices not cheap even taking into account the current high inflation. I think most people only use it as its local. If the council eventually lets a competitor build a much needed larger store in town maybe we will see some improvement.
Experience is always good & very convenient at all times of the day, but the excitement ends there just paid for items & went to buy scratcards for my wife who love them. But walked straight past as the amout of attitude for the same women on the cigarette kiosk with curly hair shoulder lengh late 50's, EVERYTIME EVERYTHING is a problem from start to finish so I now spend money else were due to the issues caused by this grumpy woman. I went to explain to the wife & she smiled and described her to me & said she get the same attitude. This is always the same woman & everyone is so pleasant a secret shopper is needed & training is required urgently because this woman alone must be costing the company lots of lost revenue..
Always shop here but recently this Morrisons is lacking the atmosphere it once had. To make matters worse it cold and dark, expect this is due to cutbacks.
My choice for food shopping,easy parking and having my surgery and chemist on site is without doubt extremely convenient. Only criticism is that the approach road needs some serious repairs.
I always wind up spending more than I planned to in here, not because of prices, just the sheer number of temptations! They also do a really good GF range
Hadn’t been here for quite a long time, found the outside appearance a bit shabby and run down, the internal layout is no longer pensioner or disabled friendly having no central gangway now, their prices prices are up there with Waitrose and M&S but not I’m sorry to say the quality, of course that’s only my opinion
After visiting this store had to go garage after as the road leading to the shop is full of very deep pot holes. Of at least 3 inches thick. Causing my suspension to give out. Be warned all those who go to this store. Pls complain as soon as you walk through the door. Its been this way for over 3 years. Morrisons should be ashamed of being so cheap as in not repair the road. Rather just leave it and damage all the cars that approach the shop. SHAME ON YOU THE MANAGERS AND THE MORRISONS COMPANY.
