Felixstowe pier is great fun. It’s a small pier with a beautiful beach walk either side of the pier. There is plenty of parking near to the beach and pier at a reasonable price. There’s a good amount of crane machines and 2p machines for the kiddies or kids at heart. Staff are friendly. There are good / clean public toilets on the pier. A very nice cafe / restaurant on the pier for a meal or just a coffee sitting outside watching the world go by or the massive container ships if that’s your thing. We love a morning out to Felixstowe that is about 40-60 minutes drive from us in clacton. The pier is free!
It was closed, so we couldn't walk all the way to the end. However, maybe not that bad as seems to be a bit outdated. At the front has fish and chips, ice cream. Around restaurants. So if it is not too windy nice to sit on a pier and enjoy afternoon tea or cup of coffee. You can walk through the middle as some game machines for the kiddos too. Maybe for adults too if you feel like having a go

Kids had fun in the arcade,lots of different machines. Hand sanitiser readily available. We've eaten in the restaurant before which is nice and also had the fish and chips and sat on the pier which are also good.
Pier is not open. General public areas were a bit dirty/unkempt. But very pretty and vibrant area. Loved our time there.
It's great what they've done with the old pier, plenty of outdoor seating in the summer with scan code table service. There's also also sme outside draft beer pumps at a mini bar. We just had some Oat Milk Lattes....services was swift and friendly. Popped through a door amd to the Arcade after and smashed some pennies into the machines for a half hour too. Just a shame they've only repairs half of the peir, hopefully the rest will get done one day?
Recently built pier main building. Good fish and chips. Shame the main pier isn't open. You can walk around the back of the new building but then the rest is fenced off.
Beautiful seaside with sandy beach. Toilets around with lots of shops and restaurants. Kids always have fun
