I sent my breakfast back, full credit to the lady that delivered it who noticed that the egg was slimy as in not cooked, I then sat while my parents ate their breakfast until I decided to go up to the front and find out what happened to my breakfast which was waiting to be taken out, the waitress couldn't apologise enough. She assumed that someone else had delivered it, sorry not what the doctor ordered I'm afraid, time I think to look elsewhere for breakfast on our days off.
Don't even bother going here... Its the only cafe that runs out of the basics like tea spoons, butter and jam on a regular basis... Fine for a quick cuppa but other than that avoid it. One day they will work out they are attached to a supermarket which sells all of the items. They have a large cafe but the kitchen can rarely keep up.. 45 minutes wait for toast is a joke.
Was previously a great cafe, but staff shortages and poor management have left it with many items out of stock, and HUGE waiting times at all but the quietest times, the staff they have are great but need the help of others as they often leave, seen so many good staff leave over the time we have been regular customers.
Breakfast is lovely here they do get it right most times
Absolute shambles of a cafe. Takes an age to get served with no staff visible to help. 45 minute wait for food. Majority of tables are covered in dirty plates and cutlery with staff walking right past and not clearing away - after around half hour someone eventually cleared some but not all of the tables. Cooked meals are sat waiting for 10-15 mins on the window between kitchen and cafe while no staff deliver them to waiting customers. When food did arrive egg and chips were overcooked and sausages were of the poorest quality. The Lady in the table next to mine got so fed up waiting she went up to collect her own food from.the window which had been sat there for 15 minutes!! The staff could be seen clearly laughing at the situation as she walked away. General vibe from other customers here is that this is a regular state of affairs for this cafe rather than a one-off bad day. Avoid this place at all costs there are far better options a few mins walk into the town centre. If i could give lower than 1 star I would.
Good staple food, good prices, nice family friendly environment. BUT menu items are often unavailable, and staff morale frequently appears very low
Coffee machine ran out of coffee beans, so the lady replaced it however when she opened the cupboard it was disgusting in there. Obviously need to shut for a day and deep clean.
It was very good experience. Yummy meal with cup of coffee as a deal. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Ordinary food. Good value for money.
They need to clear up the tables. How can they run out of sausages it's a super market.
