We took my wife's wedding ring to be resized after it became too big. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who took time to ensure that the new size was accurate. We accepted her recommendation and was told the adjustment could be done within 90 minutes. This was very pleasing and unexpected. We returned at the advised time, the resizing was complete and it looked like the day it was bought, 30 years ago. My wife was thrilled, the ring was gleaming, it fitted perfectly, also she was delighted that she didn't have to leave it for over a week as some jewellers state. We used Morris Bywater after a recommendation from a friend. My wife will be taking 3 more rings there to be resized as a result of our experience today. It was nice to see courteous, knowledgeable staff and receive a high quality service from a company that cares. Many thanks to the on duty gentleman who completed this work for us, my wife is very happy.
Collected another wonderful bespoke bracelet from the lovely people at Morris Bywater yesterday! A custom bracelet with diamond cluster on a gold chain with diamond accents to match a much loved ring and pendant that I've had for some time. Absolutely beautiful! Thank you Andrea and team!
Visited today to get advice on the catch on the silver bracelet which my wife bought for me around 40 years ago. Although the catch appears OK there is something obviously wrong because the bracelet's fallen from my wrist twice in the last month. Had a good discussion in store and agreed that a new catch would probably give me the best peace of mind. Amazed to be told that if I wanted to pop back at 1pm about an hour from when I left the bracelet the catch would be replaced. Which it was. Excellent, efficient friendly but professional service hence the 5-star rating. Will certainly use Morris Bywater again!
I had my engagement ring resized and replated here and was impressed at the speed of the service - it was ready about 90 mins after taking it in! Service was excellent and all the staff were super friendly. I’d definitely recommend and use them again.
Fantastic shop! Cannot recommend them highly enough. They have made my engagement ring and a bespoke set of tree themed wedding rings for us and their products and customer service have been fantastic. From regular email updates, to letting us view the sample rings to see if any further changes are needed, to making our changes they have paid attention to small details. Andrea has been continually polite and helpful and has accommodated additional changes without further charge. She stuck to original pricing quotes even when things then turned out to cost more, and has cleaned my engagement ring and repaired it free of charge whilst it was dropped off. Both my partner and I have been extremely impressed with the quality of their work and the customer service provided. They will be the only jewellers we use from now on!
went to get a large signet ring resized was amazed it only took an hour and a half and the sales lady sounded like she knew exactly what she was doing obviously not spoke to the sales lady and we agreed on a size Y from Z got my receipt went to grab a coffee and wait. looked at the reciept and it said X and a half went to another jeweller tobe sure as it was tight and found out it was sized to an X. will never take my jewellery there again, cost another £25 to have it put right.
Have taken my wrist watch a few times for repair and cleaning, great service and I have always come away receiving exelent advice from curtiouse staff.
Took my wedding and engagement ring purchased elsewhere to Morris Bywater to be resized. Engagement ring came back perfect but a few flaws in my wedding ring. Morris Bywater offered to take it back in and fix it, when they couldn't do it they sent it to Birmingham and had the ring completely remade for me so it was perfect free of charge! They even offered to clean my engagement ring for free before the wedding day and I got a text the morning of the wedding from them offering their congratulations. Top service from a local independent company that you wouldn't receive going to a high street chain jeweler! Thank you so much Morris Bywater!
We wanted our wedding rings engraved with a special quote inside. Even though we hadn’t purchased them from Morris Bywater Staff were really lovely, professional & helpful by suggesting sending them off to an specialised engraver in Birmingham. Within a week the rings had been engraved & ready for collection. Today 12/06/21 we collected them! Both rings perfectly engraved in italic writing, exactly as we had asked. A first class service! Highly recommend! Thank you for making our day special
The service attitude is first-class, the staff are very enthusiastic, the maintenance master is also very careful, a great service
