Story

We are a longstanding family business established originally in 1895. Starting out as a purveyor of drapery, our range has expanded down the years to now encompass everything you would expect from a modern DIY & hardware store. Now part of the Independent Co-operative group of Mica retailers and with two stores (in Redditch & Alcester) we are local Calor Gas specialists, with both stores stocking excellent ranges of DIY, decorating, ironmongery & garden products.

Redditch is also a specialist locksmith & serves a large number of local tradesmen, whilst Alcester is known for its outstanding housewares & cookshop departments. Please browse our site to discover more, and we hope to see you instore soon.
