We really enjoyed our stay at Morgan's. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Our room was comfortable and clean. Great location. There's a great bar for a night cap, and the breakfast was very tasty. We'll definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended. Rooms: Very clean. Very comfortable. Walkability: Very well situated for centre of Swansea. Food & drinks: Tasty breakfast.
Had a lovely stay in the Townhouse at Morgan’s. The rooms were very clean and had super comfy beds. Breakfast was lovely and the Sunday lunch to die for! We had a few drinks in the bar which has big comfy sofas to relax on. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Ideal location as close to town but also on the marina where we had a lovely walk around and over to the beach. Great transport links also, about a 15 minute walk from the train station but also has onsite parking for free!! Will definitely be booking again.
Stayed the night for an event, the room was amazing and a great size, I stayed in the Townhouse which is just across the road from the Main Hotel. Food was great plenty of choice, So many drinks to offer in the bar can't wait for my next stay there.Rooms: 5/5
I went with friends for the afternoon tea which was yummy and plentiful. We dined in a large room on circular tables and were entertained by singing waiting staff . Only gripe was the Luke warm.weak coffee but this was rectified when brought to the staffs attention We loved the recyclable containers given on request to take uneaten goodies home
Such a beautiful hotel, central location, controlled car parking, friendly and helpful staff. Love the vegetarian full breakfast and coffee pod machine in the room. I'll always stay here when I visit.Rooms: 5/5
Went for Sunday Lunch with my family. £28 for 3 courses was very reasonable for what we had. I had smoked salmon to start, roast beef for main course followed by the cheese board which was all fantastic. The setting is beautiful along with having space downstairs in the bar for a nip before heading to the main dining room. The service however was a different story, while friendly was lacklustre in quality. Found it difficult to order and drinks were slow. To put it in perspective a lunch where we arrived at 1335, we didn’t get served desert till 1605. Will still go back as it could have simply been an off day.
Great evening on New year eve. Staff were professional and engaging. Food was good. Good quality cooked breakfast. We will be back
Staff very polite and breakfast was ok but avoid the Townhouse at all costs. Until some serious work is done to soundproof the building it’s too noisy to be sold as accommodation, even the lift makes an unreasonably loud notice every time it’s used. The whole experience in terms of the Townhouse was bad.Rooms: 2/5
The room was in the Annex building. Lift only went to second floor. Room in attic reached by steep stairs. Meal booked & called to table on time but 40 mins before the food was served. Expensive for facilities offered on this occasion. Car park good if space available. Rooms: Our room in attic was not easy to get to & head height was low. Shower walk in good.
Had a large family party for sunday lunch - 2 wheelchairs and 2 under 1 year olds. The food was good quality but expensive and no option for just one course for someone who isn't a large eater option for 2 or 3 course only. On arrival there was loud music playing and seemed more club related than for a sunday lunch and I asked if it could be turned down - my son was 3 feet away from me and we couldn't hear each other. The person advised "I'll ask" and seemed to think this was funny. We wanted to order our drinks and pay at teh bar as we were a large party and wanted to keep our bills easy. We were constantly told to go back to teh table and order there for them to bring the drinks. I went to the bar and ordered a few times ignoring the message and ordered and paid there - other members of the party felt too intimidated to do this. There was no high chair in service as straps had broken and we witnessed a 3 year old next to us get stuck between the bar and chair whilst we were there - quite distressing for the child, family and us. The service was inconsistent - a beef dinner arrived without Yorkshire and requested and brought on a separate plate, we were advised there would be another 2 tureens of veg and when asked later were told we had our quota. Cheese board ordered and cheesecake delivered, Generally speaking a nice family get together that could have been so much better with good friendly service. A few of the waitresses were pleasant it just seemed poorly organised. We were made to feel we should have been grateful to be there.
