My heating would not work . Phoned the emergency number and got the lovely guy who put me on to a lady who was lovely and so helpful . Within in an hour the guy came out and a real jolly nice guy . Stupid me just needed batteries for my thermostat . Delighted with all the people I spoke to 11/10
Never had a problem dealing with Moray Council....they have been helpful and courteous with my problems and very prompt dealing with household items not working or broken.
The we have no money and there’s to many private tenants we’re doing nothing wearing very thin with me now. They fitted a new radiator in my flat they left me alone knowing I’ve health issues and left both hatches open and I fell down the hatch at the front door answering it to the postie denied it and now am left fighting it in court then they didn’t refit my carpet after doing work in my bedroom I tripped and broke my wrist I still have no feeling in my thumb. I am fed up with fighting to get stuff done like getting the grass cut and bins replaced. You report stuff and your made out to be a pest. Third world countries are run better. Very poor service but not from all I have to add as some workers really do their best for you so I have to thank them for that.
Absolutely horrendous. The worst council I've ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. If you hand in an important form , you can be guaranteed they'll "misplace" it. If you require any kind of timely response on a matter that is time sensitive, don't hold your breath. I've been dealing with these ludites for 4 years now. I'd be happier living on the Gaza strip. Absolute dogsh*te service.
Very very bad Moray council don't care about people left suffer by neighbours bully next door and left person cold in house 24/7 council don't want to help that person to move but leave person to suffer by neighbours bully and threats and hasslement police is fed up with council for not listen for total past 6 years that person been badly suffer with mental health by next door thank to council for do nothing about help move that person DONT TRUST MORAY COUNCIL AT ALL
I can’t thank moray council enough . Woke up to no hot water or heating . After trying to fix it I’m not sure if I made it worse phoned moray council and response was 10/10. And was fixed within 2 hours. Thank you miry council I now have hot water and heating
have no faith at all in moray council they don’t care for anyone or anything, elderly and disabled people are penalised have hours cut for care and not getting the care they need ! They don’t know what a lawnmower is I just look at the grass around Elgin and wonder what visitors will think, if council tenants had grass growing that ling they would soon be reprimanded and told to clean it up ! I think they need to have someone take over and show them how to do the running of a council instead of boozing and going to useless rally’s
Would give zero stars if I could! Its definitely toss up between the DWP and The Moray Council for the least helpful people I have ever had the displeasure of talking to!
Staff are friendly depending on who you get. The only downside is how they have to shout out your name too all which I'm not very comfortable with but that could be just me.
Map inaccurate was after Mair Street, Bucpool, gave Main Street Elgin, where is similarity in town name it was miles out
