This is a fantastic little library, now run by volunteers. We're so grateful the community was able to take over the running of it, as it's a long way to other libraries, especially if you have children or are elderly. The volunteers work very hard to assist however they can, despite having to deal with people who wait impatiently outside, or system problems. We can order in books from larger libraries, or make use of their own catalogue. We're there so regularly, I don't know what we'd do without it.
Very friendly, volunteer-run library with a good selection of children's and adult books, and a great way to access books from other libraries by reserving them online and collecting them locally. An absolutely essential part of Moorland Road.
Moorland Road is a lovely library, with easy transport access either from the railway station or bus stops into the city. It is small but cosy with a great range of books and DVDs available. I like to browse the shelves and also pick up reservations. Any queries I have, always come with a fast response. Well recommended.
A wonderful little place! Was walking past today and was invited in to sing Christmas carols - what a delight! Will be going back soon as looked like they had great books available
It gots lots different books for children to read and located in very good location just fews mins walk from my house. Voluneers there are always helpful. 10/10.
Can't fault the library. It does very well to stock a big collection of books, with helpful staff. In the day of ebooks and other sources of entertainment, it is nice to see this library still in operation.
Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to keep this little library alive. Now run by amazing volunteers. A community gem.
A small library, but nonetheless worthy for its location and service, both which are greatly appreciated. Always a welcome sight to see it open.
