Story

Monty’s is an attraction point both for shoppers and locals if they want to taste authentic and modern Nepalese as well as Indian food. An extensive choice of dishes in a variety of all sizes will allow diners to tailor their menu to their appetite, putting together a meal to suit their taste and mood.

Open seven days a week, we are yours whenever you want us. We are available for exclusive hire for any event, excluding Friday and Saturday, whether it’s a private, business meeting or lunch/dinner, or even for outside catering, at very reasonable prices.

Our food is sourced from top quality ingredients, featuring a high percentage of local products. Fresh meat and vegetables supplies are delivered four days a week ensuring the best quality and freshly prepared food. Our food is prepared by our chefs in our restaurant and not brought pre-packed or pre-made. We believe that this is essential if we are to offer our customers truly authentic food. Our menu changes every now and then, offering a mix of new and signature dishes like Momocha (Momo), Chhoela, Trishuli Jhinga, Chicken Chilli, Kaalo Daal, Tandoori Butter Chicken, Pahadi Lamb/Chicken, Kathmandu Chicken etc. We consider Monty’s Restaurant to be a truly Nepalese and Indian Restaurant honouring different cooking traditions and interpreting them with our unique creative vision.

To compliment the meal, we offer an extensive range of wines from the new and old world. This menu is updated seasonally and revised with expert advice from our wine merchant so that we can offer the best service to our client.
