One of the smarter Indian restaurants  in Surbiton. Food has always been very good and tailored to specific tastes when needed. The more formal dinning experience means its a bit less characterful than some of the other Indian restaurants near by but ideal for a more romantic dinner. Take away is also very good. Friendly staff and attentive service make for an enjoyable curry night.

Best Indian in Surbiton! The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. My favourite is the Tava cooked in aromatic spices and served sizzling on a platter. My wife love the Pasanda, mild creamy sauce cooked to perfection. The complimentary drink is always on offer. If you like good food and service in beautiful surroundings than Maya is for you!

Maya is the best in surbiton , staff always recognise you when you come in with family and friends , they really know their regulars. Atmosphere is very nice , decor and surroundings also . Food always good standard and tastey , compared to other restaurants ive tried , consistency is key ! Great for any occasion.

I ordered a vegetarian curry and when served I discovered there were meat pieces floating. Makes me wonder how they cooked other vegetarian dishes. I am greatly disappointed. This sort of thing is unacceptable in any self-respecting restaurant.

Do you want salmonella poisoning? Half way through my curry I realised that the chicken was slightly pink. After this I was admitted to hospital for 16 hours after I discharged myself to return home. Maya deflected all responsibility after it could not have been any other cause. I would not wish what I went through on my worst enemy. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Have eaten here several times and the food and service has always been good. As I write this Maya is closed for refurbishment. Hopefully the rather grubby toilets will get a makeover.

Surbiton's Finest! As soon as you enter Maya your greeted with a warm welcome and the 5 star treatment begins.The waiting staff are always very friendly and the food is delicious.On our last visit I tried the Chichen Hariali which was beautifully cooked and very succulent and my wife had the Lamb Aam Malay which was also another delicious dish with lots of flavour.The restaurant is modern and beautifully decorated, overall the best Indian in town by far!!!

Excellent takeaway service. I have enjoyed every single curry and they never deliver late. Highly recommended.

Lovely curry house and the coconut chutney is absolutely unbelievable, can’t find it at any other curry restaurant iv been too!
