We came as a party of 9 for our works Christmas do. The starters and desserts were fine but the main course was a real disappointment. Having just noticed that you received some similar complaints last year, and yet we had the same experience this year, I felt obliged to write this. Several of us had the turkey- a very odd dish. The turkey appeared to be reconstituted around some odd stuffing that seemed to be a pate. The bread sauce was spread over the meat like butter. The meal (apart from the freshly cooked sausages) went cold within minutes. The gravy was just applied to the potatoes so nothing to keep it hot. The potatoes could not be described as roast, indeed Aunt Bessies would have been better. They had been cooked and then microwaved giving them an odd texture and , at times, colour- not pleasant to eat. The sprouts could only be described as raw. I was unable to put my fork into them. We also had huge variations in the amount- I had 2,one colleague had 1, another had 8. The meal was not cheap. 2 members had the vegetarian option of pumpkin which came with the largest portion of Jerusalem artichoke root- 3 huge roots, cooked very badly. A complete disappointment, but what is more disappointing is that you have had similar feedback last year, and yet have changed nothing. I have also completed the feedback form you emailed me ,and have heard nothing from you. I would have had a better Christmas dinner if I had gone to the Toby Carvery.

Awful food when we booked our Christmas meal. 6 of us couldn't eat the Turkey as it was that bad. Very expensive considering.
