A lovely place for a relaxing walk. There are aviaries and a children's play area. There are lakes and lots of green spaces. There are also toilets and places to buy snacks.
Bit quiet when we went, will return at weekend or on an event day. Play area and bandstand looked great.
Always very well kept with great flower beds. In the middle of town. Can walk as much as you want in peace. Everything nearby.
Beautifully maintained gardens.. Now with added garden bar conservatory. Hopefully this will now be open all year round and not just for the summer months. Tucked behind is a courtyard area. Only downside is having to drink out of plastic 'glasses'.
Went to the free events at the Jazz Festival brilliant acts in beautiful surroundings. Lots of people and picnics, families very young and old,with dogs or not together in having a lovely time.
