We have rented one of the lodges for a week's holiday. The accommodation is excellent, spacious and scrupulously clean. We also have our little dog with us, who was welcomed to stay with us in the accommodation - a big plus point for us! The enclosed decking area is also very helpful for the dog. Lovely hot tub, but a step for easier entry and exit would have been good. The lake and surroundings are beautiful, though the lake and parts of the site open to day visitors can get very busy on warm days. Hire of water sports equipment is a little pricey, though. A concession for guests staying on site would be a nice extra touch.
What an amazing place. Full of nature and fun. Water sports centre. All types of crafts for hire and have instruction if required. Croft is in the centre of a great area lots to see and do. If you no camping equipment you can rent lodges cabins. Something for everyone
Great place. Prices are sneaking up as all UK holiday sites but this place offer a great experience for the kids canoeing, paddle board…. Second visit . Will book next year again.you can camp, caravan… Hut, cabin… all are on offer.
Stayed at Croft farm for a weekend and was extremely impressed with the site. Staff are very friendly and willing to help the shower blocks are clean and have regular cleaning schedules. There is food and entertainment on site and it is welcoming to pets too will definitely go again
Stayed via Hoseasons, in Maple Lodge for a long weekend to visit Worcester Christmas Market. Super clean and tidy Lodge with nice welcome pack. Even a lit tree and some other decorations for Christmas. Only negative was the recycling seemed pretty much non existent except for glass which was sad. Could see everyone had bagged it up only to dump it in the bin.
Great location for those wanting to stay in a lodge, caravan or tent. WiFi wasn’t the best but it worked. Lots of places to go within a 30 mile radius. Perfect scenery with plenty of water activities on the lake. Lodges are also nice.
Loved it, water was great, there are loos, bar and cafe so all u need. Got to say cafe was a bit disorganised. You q to order food and drinks, take your receipt next door to the bar, q again to get soft drinks in a cheap cup. No lid, no tray - try carrying food and drinks across car park back to your group. They offer take out but aren't equipped for it. There also needs to be more bins around the lake. Families are picnicing so need bins please. Aside from those suggestions it's great love it. Highly recommend for water loving families.
I am absolutely appalled with the business acumen of this place. Before a bank holiday was even talked about for next may I had booked to stay here for 3 nights and paid a deposit in July. This week I received an email saying that because it is now an extra £10 per night, a 33% per night increase. I had already booked at the agreed rate and the price should have been honoured! What next? A forecast of a heatwave so another increase of 50%. This greedy company is beyond belief. Relieved to have cancelled and suggest you think twice about booking. Gary
Lovely place but its getting more and more expensive £20 just for a car, £12 for wetsuits , then boyency aids if you're not hiring out equipment. Been going for years and it is a really lovely place, but prices have definitaly gone up. Used to be £5 to park less than 10 years ago. If I took my two boys it would cost alot for the three of us. Toilets and showers are clean. Nice bar/eating area. Foods lovely . Play area for younger kids. Staff are friendly
Lodge was beautiful, just a couple of tiny niggles but nothing that wasn't put right. As we were there in December none of the facilities were open apart from the coffee shop which we tried and it was lovely. Would like to see it in the summer
