Lovely weekend at the Mount Pleasant, really nice atmosphere in the bar, good selection of drinks. Room very clean and spacious with access to a kitchen. Suzanne and Mark looked after us really well.

Really pleasant place to stay. Comfy bed in the double ensuite. Shower is ok, plenty of coffee & tea in the room. Staff really friendly & helpful, breakfast was very tasty & quite generous the black pudding & mushrooms are great! Despite being over a lively pub rooms are quite quiet & the pub crowd are friendly. Will definitely come & stay again, thank you for a lovely stay!
Stayed here a couple of months ago. We booked three rooms but, had to cancel one of them at very short notice, not a problem. Both rooms one with ensuit were clean & roomy. Shower in ensuite was difficult to maintain at a warm temperature, seemed hot or cold. Kitchen area clean and practicable toaster, fridge etc. Lounge area nice, a TVs in this area would add a nice touch. Great venue if you are traveling as a group. Bar downstairs friendly. Cannot comment on the food as we didn't eat here. We simply didn't have time. But the restaurant was busy
